In this role, you will lead high-impact projects in a regulated medical environment to deepen our understanding of how real-world imaging conditions impact algorithm accuracy and reproducibility. If you are passionate about directly contributing to patient outcomes and have a track record of driving new data-centric product initiatives, we look forward to reading your application.\nWhat You'll Do:\nBuild robust analytical pipelines and visualizations over population-scale data to characterize dataset distributions and algorithm performance across diverse patient populations.\nTranslate findings about data variance and algorithm behavior into actionable requirements and algorithmic design recommendations.\nFormulate data annotation protocols for internal product development and FDA submissions.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Research, Product, Clinical, and Engineering to transform clinical needs into cloud-based software solutions.\nLead regulatory submission efforts, ensuring that software components comply with relevant regulations by working closely with quality and regulatory teams.\nLead technical projects from conception to deployment.\nFoster team growth through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.\nDiagnose and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems, often under time constraints.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nMaster's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.\n5+ years (or 3+ with a PhD) of industry experience in Data Science, Biomedical Signal Analysis, or Biomedical Image Analysis.\nExpert proficiency in Python and statistical data analysis ecosystems (e.g., pandas, bokeh, statsmodels, or other similar libraries).\nProven experience working with large, complex, and messy datasets.\nStrong interpersonal communicator comfortable with presenting results and recommendations to stakeholders.\nTeam-oriented mindset that finds satisfaction in collaborating on difficult problems and providing mentorship.\nProven experience with regulatory submissions, developing medical software in FDA, MDR, or similarly regulated environments.\nExperience in image processing, computer vision, or 3D computational geometry.\nDemonstrated experience with software development best practices: testing, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.\nProficiency with orchestration tools, like GitHub Actions, and navigation of Linux systems using the CLI.\nExcellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across applications, networks, and cloud environments.\nHow To Stand Out:\nExperience collaborating directly with Product and Research teams to develop software solutions addressing real-world medical challenges.\nDeep knowledge of statistical methods, image optimization techniques, and advanced visualization tools.\nFamiliarity with HIPAA compliance and data security best practices in healthcare.\nContributions to open-source projects or publications in relevant technical or clinical fields.\nIf you don't tick every box, don't count yourself out!
