Reviews trainers and makes recommendations to add or remove trainers based on effectiveness of training.\nPrepare training schedule for new employees to ensure all areas of training are adequately covered.\nCreate training outline and materials as needed.\nEnsure hourly trainers perform consistent training for all tasks and equipment.\nPerform underground equipment training for new hires.\nTrack equipment training for existing employees, including completed training, re-training if expired, new equipment task training, and equipment usage observations.\nAudit existing training paperwork and in the field practices to verify compliance.\nComplete training for tasks as identified in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Standards, and/or Policies.\nAudit processes, training and SOP’s for effectiveness.\nStay apprised of changes in equipment or tasks to ensure training procedures are updated or created as needed.\nWrite new or revise existing SOP’s, Standards, and/or Policies following the Management of Change (MOC) process.\nPerform risk assessments in preparation for writing or revising SOP’s, Standards, and/or Policies.\nComplete all paperwork involved in training, including sign-in sheets and time spent training, verifying all documents are correct, updating training matrix.\nReview and audit paperwork completed by hourly task and equipment trainers for compliance with regulations.\nComplete 5000-23s for final evaluation.\nPerform underground escape tours for new Maintenance department employees.\nSchedule retraining using training matrix.\nFollow up on task training request form and schedule.\nAssist with Annual Refresher Training, including development of training criteria and delivering training.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh School graduate or equivalent.\n5 years’ minimum operational experience in industry, underground mining experience preferred.\nPrior training experience preferred.\nMSHA blue card certification preferred.\nDemonstrated safety leadership.\nProficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and
