Ultimately, the E&I Technician contributes to the seamless functioning of surface operations, supporting overall business objectives and operational excellence.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrical or instrumentation technician program is preferred.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, preferably in surface facility environments.\nStrong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation devices, control systems, and related safety standards.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.\nValid driver’s license and ability to travel to various surface sites within the United States as required.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, or a related field.\nExperience working in the oil and gas, energy, or industrial manufacturing sectors.\nFamiliarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and SCADA systems.\nCertification in electrical safety, such as NFPA 70E or OSHA electrical safety training.\nStrong computer skills including proficiency with maintenance management software and diagnostic tools.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment at surface facilities.\nTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems, control panels, instrumentation devices, and related components to ensure optimal performance.\nInstall new electrical and instrumentation equipment according to engineering specifications and industry standards.\nCollaborate with operations and engineering teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing operational disruptions.\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status to support compliance and reporting requirements.\nAdhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing all tasks to ensure a safe working environment.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.\nSkills:\nThe required skills enable the technician to effectively perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of complex electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring operational continuity.
