Our culture is built on our GRIT values: Growth, Resourcefulness, Integrity, and Team.\nThe Opportunity\nThe Project Manager provides leadership, planning, and oversight to ensure project success while delivering HBC's processes with quality, integrity, and profitability. As a Project Manager II, you independently lead mid-size projects of increasing complexity and are accountable for project outcomes.\nWhat You'll Do\nProject Leadership & Financial Ownership\nAccept ultimate responsibility for project success - quality assurance, safety, financial performance, and owner satisfaction - and for the harmonious performance of the project team.\nScope: independently lead projects in the $15M-$30M range, carrying full responsibility for the outcome.\nManage the budget, schedule, contracts, plans, and specifications for assigned project(s) in Procore. \nProvide monthly cost projections and progress reports showing baseline vs. actual and critical path. \nReview and approve all field cost expenditures.\nManage PCOs, CORs, change orders, CCAs, ACAs, direct material purchases, bonds, submittals, RFIs, pay requests, and warranties as required. \nPreconstruction & Buyout\nPartner with the preconstruction team on cost estimating, subcontractor participation, value engineering, constructability, and owner proposal preparation. \nDevelop complete trade partner and material supplier scopes of work. \nNegotiate, create, and process subcontracts and purchase orders. \nSchedule, Quality & Safety\nDevelop and maintain the project schedule and monitor and maintain project safety and quality standards throughout. \nManage the project punch list aggressively. \nCoordinate with the Virtual Design & Construction team on clash detection, constructability, and layout and routing. \nDirectly supervise the Superintendent(s), Assistant Project Manager, Project Administrator, trade partners, and vendors. \nCloseout & Client Relationships\nFollow all company procedures for project plan, job setup, maintenance, and closeout. \nClose out the project financially and update accounting cost reports within 30 days of final inspection. \nConduct a warranty walk-through 10 months after substantial completion. \nMaintain positive communication with office, owner, architect, and inspectors, and perform warranty-period follow-up - with the goal that every client would build with HBC again and refer us. \nWhat You Bring to the Role\nExperience & Education\n5+ years of commercial construction experience.\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.\nCertifications & Licenses\nOSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.\nFirst Aid / CPR preferred.\nValid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.\nSkills & Attributes\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and Procore.\nStrong leadership, financial management, and client communication skills.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
