This role is responsible for new business opportunities as well as retention for our sales team. \n\nThis role is ideal for an outgoing, self-motivated, results-driven individual looking to build a career in sales. This role is also ideal for former educators with a few years of sales experience. \n\nWhat you'll do\n\nMaintain and field educator inquiries coming in from the Heggerty website.\n\nQualify inbound inquiries by assessing potential customer fit based on company criteria.\n\nPartner with marketing and Heggerty Sales Representatives to drive the sales process forward.\n\nSchedule meetings and product demos for Heggerty Sales Representatives to drive the sales process forward.\n\nSupport e-commerce sales by engaging with potential customers who create a quote and need support.\n\nFollow-up (email and/or phone) with educators who show high interest in Heggerty solutions\n\nCollaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine followup strategies\n\nMaintain accurate CRM records by updating customer data and tracking all interactions.\n\nStay informed on Heggerty content, company offerings, and competitors to position Heggerty’s solutions effectively.\n\nClose small-business deals and contribute to revenue growth by converting qualified leads into customers.\n\nQualifications\n\nCuriosity, empathy, and a passion for our mission and values\n\nBachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred\n\n1+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles preferred, but open to motivated entry-level candidates\n\nPrior teaching experience highly preferred\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\n\nResilient, goal-oriented, and eager to learn\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment\n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively\n\nFamiliarity with CRM and other Sales/Marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Calendly, etc.) preferred\n\nWhat we offer\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits\n\n401(k) with company match\n\nGenerous time off options, including paid holidays and winter break\n\nIndependence and autonomy\n\nA flexible, remote work environment\n\nAt Heggerty, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where every employee can thrive.
