Do you take pride in working safely, efficiently, and as part of a high-performing team?\nWe are looking for a Mobile Plant Operator to join our operation, playing a key role in the movement and processing of materials across site. This is a hands-on position where safety, teamwork, and operational excellence are at the heart of everything you do.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Mobile Plant Operator, your primary responsibility will be operating a Front End Loader to move material from the processing plant to stockpiles and load haulier vehicles safely and efficiently. You will also support wider site operations by operating additional mobile plant equipment where appropriately trained and authorised.\nWorking closely with Site Management, you will help ensure the smooth running of the site while maintaining the highest standards of safety, housekeeping, and equipment care.\nKey Responsibilitie s\nOperate a Front End Loader to transport material from the processing plant to stockpiles and load customer haulage vehicles.\nSafely and efficiently operate mobile plant machinery in line with training and certification requirements.\nCarry out daily inspections and routine maintenance on mobile plant equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and Heidelberg Materials standards.\nSupport processing plant activities and undertake additional operational duties as directed by Site Management.\nMaintain excellent housekeeping standards across the site.\nReport defects, hazards, and safety concerns promptly.\nFollow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with Quarry Regulations 1999 and all relevant site rules.\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience operating Front End Loaders and other mobile plant equipment.\nStrong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nA proactive approach to maintenance and equipment care.\nGood communication skills and a positive attitude.\nRelevant mobile plant certifications and licences.\nWhy Heidelberg Materials?\nAt Heidelberg Materials, we are building a more sustainable future and need talented people who share our commitment to safety, innovation, and operational excellence.
