Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining automated processes for building, testing, and deploying applications.\nResponsibilities:\nCloud Engineering & Automation\nDesign, build, operate, and continuously improve secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure supporting application workloads.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD capabilities, and automation that enable consistent, reliable, and efficient application delivery.\nSupport containerized application platforms and cloud services across the application lifecycle.\nProduction Operations & Reliability\nProvide Tier-3 production support for applications and cloud infrastructure, including ownership of complex incident investigation, resolution, root-cause analysis, and preventative improvements.\nMaintain and improve the availability, performance, resilience, scalability, and operational readiness of production services.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation and support critical production incidents outside normal business hours, as required.\nObservability & Continuous Improvement\nMaintain effective monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability capabilities that provide visibility into application and infrastructure health.\nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve reliability, performance, operational efficiency, and service recovery through engineering and automation.\nSecurity & Operational Governance\nEmbed security, compliance, and appropriate controls into cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational processes.\nSupport effective release, change management, access control, and production operating practices in accordance with organizational standards.\nEngineering Collaboration & Innovation\nPartner with development, QA, security, infrastructure, and support teams to improve application delivery, operational readiness, and production reliability.\nApply automation, scripting, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled engineering capabilities, to improve DevOps workflows and engineering effectiveness.\nCommunicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders regarding service health, incidents, releases, and operational improvements.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.\n5-7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.\nExperience designing, building, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline/AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or comparable tools. Experience with AWS CodePipeline/AWS CodeBuild.\nExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).\nProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, GO).\nFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\nExperience with administration of Relational and NoSQL Managed Database Services.\nKnowledge of networking, security, and Linux system administration.\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCertifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate).\nExperience with microservices architecture.\nKnowledge of configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet).\nFamiliarity with agile development methodologies.\nPay Range Guidelines for this Position:\nThe salary range for this position is 128000 USD to 150000 USD. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience and skills. In addition to your salary, Heidrick & Struggles offers discretionary bonuses (subject to eligibility requirements) and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, disability leave, parental leave, paid time off and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
