It won’t be easy, but we won’t quit.\n\nBuild the solar and storage backbone of a first-of-its-kind clean power plant. You'll own the Solar + BESS package end to end, from picking suppliers to energizing the system, on a small team where your calls shape the project and the template for the projects after it. The challenge: a fast schedule, a behind-the-meter microgrid with multiple sources, and suppliers who need to be held to performance.\n Key Responsibilities:\nEngineering & Integration\nTranslate standard electrical and controls requirements into solar, BESS and O&M scopes of work, specifications and datasheets\n\nLead design reviews with integrators, EPCs and the owner's engineer (layouts, MV collection, protection, SCADA/EMS integration, fire safety)\n\nOwn technical integration of solar and BESS with on-site generation and data center loads, including microgrid operating modes\n\nSupport HAZOP/HAZID, FMEA, NFPA 855 hazard mitigation analysis, UL 9540A review and AHJ/fire marshal engagement\n\nProcurement & Vendor Management\nCollaborate with Supply Chain on: supplier outreach, RFIs and RFPs; manage bidder Q&A and clarifications\n\nPrepare technical bid evaluations and leveled bid tabs; recommend awards\n\nCollaborate with Supply Chain on: Negotiate technical terms, warranties, performance guarantees, delivery and transportation schedules\n\nCollect domestic content and supply chain documentation needed for tax credit eligibility\n\nConstruction, Commissioning & Turnover\nOversee contractor and vendor engineering progress, inspections, FAT/SAT, delivery, installation and energization\n\nLead commissioning, capacity and performance testing, and punch-list closeout\n\nDeliver turnover packages and operations readiness with the O&M provider\n\nProject Controls\nMaintain the solar and BESS schedule; track long-lead equipment and flag risks early\n\nValidate vendor pricing against benchmarks and the financial model; manage change orders\n\nDevelop engineering procedures\n\nYou don’t have to have every listed requirement and skill to be a great fit.
