leadership role, accountable for building a world-class, risk-driven cybersecurity capability that safeguards:\n Enterprise platforms (e.g., Converge)\nCustomer data and digital banking platforms (e.g., RedApp)\nInfrastructure, cloud environments, and integrations\n\nThe Practice Lead, Cybersecurity is the executive leader responsible for protecting the enterprise, enabling secure business growth, and ensuring the resilience of all digital platforms, products, and infrastructure across Heirs Technologies and its ecosystem.\nThe CISO will operate at the intersection of technology, risk, and business, ensuring security is not a blocker but a business enabler for growth, trust, and market expansion.\n\nEnterprise Security Strategy & Leadership:\n\nProvide regular Board and EXCO reporting on cyber risk posture and mitigation\nPosition cybersecurity as a business enabler for revenue, client trust, and market expansion\nLead and scale a high-performing security organisation (GRC, SOC, Engineering, DevSecOps)\nDefine and execute a Group-wide cybersecurity strategy aligned to business growth and risk appetite\n\nPlatform & Product Security (Critical for HT):\n\nEnsure end-to-end security of:\n Digital Banking platforms (RedApp)\nEnterprise platforms (Converge)\n\nDrive DevSecOps adoption across the SDLC\nEmbed security-by-design across all products and engineering squads\n\nOutcome: Secure, scalable products that support revenue and client growth:\n\nCyber Risk Management & Governance:\n\nOversee data protection (PII, financial data, enterprise data)\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks across:\n Infrastructure\nApplications\nThird-party integrations\n\nEstablish and enforce a risk-based cybersecurity framework\n\nSecurity Operations & Incident Response:\n\nBuild and lead a 24/7 SOC capability (in-house or managed)\nOversee:\n Vulnerability management\nThreat detection (SIEM, EDR)\nPenetration testing and red teaming\n\nLead cyber incident response and crisis management\n\nOutcome: Rapid detection, containment, and recovery from threats:\n\nRegulatory Compliance & External Engagement:\n\nEnsure compliance with:\n NDPA / NDPR\nISO 27001, PCI-DSS (where applicable)\nCBN Cybersecurity Framework\n\nServe as primary interface with regulators (CBN, SEC, NITDA, NCC)\nDrive audit readiness and certification programmes\n\nCloud, Infrastructure & Identity Security:\n\nOversee endpoint, network, and infrastructure security\nImplement:\n Identity & Access Management (IAM)\nZero Trust architecture\n\nSecure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)\n\nThird-Party & Ecosystem Security:\n\nLead vendor and partner security risk management\nConduct security due diligence for all integrations and platforms\nEnsure ecosystem security across:\n Infrastructure vendors\nFintech partners\n\nSecurity Culture & Awareness:\n\nEmbed security into employee behaviour, engineering culture, and leadership mindset\nDrive enterprise-wide cybersecurity awareness programmes\nLead initiatives such as:\n Secure usage practices\nPhishing simulations\n\nExperience & Qualifications\n\nMaster’s degree (MBA / MSc Cybersecurity)\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field\nProven experience in:\n Technology or financial services environments\nBuilding and scaling enterprise security programmes\n\n12–15+ years in cybersecurity, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles\nStrong experience engaging:\n Boards, regulators, and executive teams\n\nCertifications (Required / Preferred):\n\nCISSP and/or CISM (required)\n100% compliance with regulatory and audit requirements\nZero critical security breaches\nReduction in vulnerabilities and incident frequency\nImproved incident response time and recovery capability.\nSecure delivery of all major platforms (RedApp, Converge)\nAdditional: CISA, CRISC, CEH, CCSP (advantage)\n\nSkills /
