With state-of-the-art facilities in Canada, Norway, and Poland, we deliver world-class service to customers around the globe.\nWhy Heli-One?\nWe are committed to delivering the best service for our customers, innovating every day to make repairs faster, smarter, and more cost-effective.\nJoin us and be part of a team that is shaping the future of helicopter maintenance.\nRole Summary\nWe are seeking a motivated Component Shop Technician to join our Component Workshop team in Delta, BC.\nIn this role, you will overhaul, repair, modify, inspect, and test helicopter components, including gearboxes, main and tail rotor systems, and landing gear, while ensuring all work is completed in accordance with approved maintenance manuals, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopter components, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing. \nOverhaul, repair, modify, inspect, and test helicopter components using applicable maintenance manuals and instructions. \nEnsure all maintenance tasks are properly documented and completed in accordance with OEM, company, and regulatory standards. \nConduct inspections to identify defects, corrosion, wear, or damage and ensure component airworthiness before release. \nRead and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints. \nProperly select, use, maintain, and store tools and equipment. \nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment. \nEnsure compliance with Transport Canada regulations and Heli-One Approved Maintenance Organization requirements.\nQualifications, Skills & Attributes\nQualifications & Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required. \nCompletion of a Transport Canada-approved or equivalent aviation maintenance program is highly preferred. \nBasic understanding of aircraft systems, mechanics, and maintenance tools. \nStrong working knowledge of computer applications. \nSuccessful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain clearance under the Controlled Goods Program.\nSkills & Attributes\nStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills. \nAbility to understand and work from technical English manuals and documentation. \nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. \nAbility to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. \nCommitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment.\nEligibility\nApplicants must have the legal right to work in Canada and meet any clearance requirements relevant to the role.\nRecruitment Process\nWe may commence interviews or close applications prior to the advertised closing date if suitable candidates are identified.
