Our purpose, mission and sustainable business strategy are underpinned by our values of Integrity, Partnership and Excellence.\nOverview\nReporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will support the Group Legal department with day-to-day legal matters, primarily for the London-based legal team. You will work with colleagues across the business on commercial agreements, financing and M&A activity, legal templates and processes.\nLocation: London\nFunction: Legal\nEmployment type: 12-month fixed-term contract\nWorking pattern: Full-time, on-site\nRole responsibilities\nAs a Paralegal, you will be responsible for:\nSupporting lawyers with legal matters for the Projects, Sales and Commercial, Finance, IT, HR and Procurement teams.\nAssisting with the drafting, proofreading, negotiation and execution of legal documents and correspondence.\nReviewing confidentiality agreements, commercial agreements, engagement letters and general terms and conditions.\nIdentifying risks and opportunities in legal documents and helping to mitigate or resolve identified risks.\nSupporting specific M&A and finance transactions, including work involving debt and equity documentation.\nConducting legal research to support lawyers and the wider business, including research on legislation and contractual clauses.\nMaintaining legal templates, precedents, playbooks, know-how and filing systems.\nSupporting legal reporting, including reporting on litigation matters.\nProviding day-to-day administrative support and contributing to projects and systems improvement work.\nManaging legal suppliers, including onboarding, purchase orders, legal spend and invoices, in coordination with external law firms and internal Supply Chain and Finance teams.\nRequirements for the role\nTo succeed in the role, you will have:\nA law degree or postgraduate law degree from a UK Russell Group university, with a first-class or upper-second-class result, or equivalent.\nPassed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) or Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the first sitting, with a commendation or above.\nAt least one year of paralegal experience, including reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.\nFamiliarity with financing documentation, including debt and equity documentation.\nFluency in spoken and written English, with strong communication skills and the ability to summarise complex issues clearly.\nStrong organisational, administrative and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.\nThe ability to work independently and as part of a team, handle confidential information with integrity and discretion, and adapt to a changing environment.\nA proactive, resilient and helpful approach, with a willingness to learn and develop legal experience in a fast-paced, culturally diverse corporate environment.\nDesired skills\nFrench language skills.\nFamiliarity with legal AI platforms.\nKnowledge of the telecommunications industry, or experience working in Africa or the Middle East.\nA training contract at a law firm due to start in 12 months or more.\nExperience with Microsoft Office, MS Teams, SharePoint and DocuSign.\nPlease submit your application by 18 November 2026.\nHelios Towers is committed to promoting equal opportunities in employment.
