HeliosX is looking for a dedicated Dispensing Assistant to support our growing online pharmacy operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring patients receive their medications safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards.\nThis is a full-time, permanent role, based on site in our Leamington Spa warehouse. Shifts will be on 4 days on & 4 days off schedule, between the hours of 10am-10pm. \nWhat you’ll be doing:\nAs a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you’ll play a hands-on role in dispensing medications across a range of our services - from GLP-1 weight loss treatments to dermatology, men’s health, and more - supporting each patient’s journey with care and accuracy. Working closely with our pharmacists and packing team, you’ll help ensure medications are processed with precision and dispatched rapidly - meeting our customer promise to patients of safe, high-quality care, delivered in record time. Your day-to-day responsibilities would include:\nAccurately selecting and labelling pharmaceutical products according to prescriptions and SOPs\nPrinting medication labels and GP letters\nSafely dispatching medications to patients\nMaintaining accurate and compliant Patient Medication Records (PMRs)\nIdentifying and flagging any medicine-related issues to the Pharmacist\nHandling stock control, storage, and expiry checks\nProcessing returns and managing stock logs\nOrganising batch sheets with expiry dates in mind\nEnsuring GP letters are sent out and following up with patients\nWhat you’ll bring:\nNVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Dispensing Assistant training, accredited and completed under a Responsible Pharmacist or ACT\nAn eye for detail and strong organisational skills\nConfidence using IT systems\nComfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment\nPrevious pharmacy or warehouse experience is a bonus - but not essential\nWhy work with us? \n\nAt HeliosX, we want to improve healthcare for everyone, and to do this we need a team of brilliant people who share that ambition.
