If you want to do important work for critical industries on an ambitious, high-energy team, we’d love for you to join us.\nAbout the Role:\nThe Product Manager will report directly to the CEO, and is responsible for the outcome of Engineering OS, Heliux’s product data and lifecycle management module:\nPartner closely with our customers’ engineering and operations organizations to gain a continuous understanding of their work-the good, the bad, the ugly.\n\nAnticipate the capabilities that our customers need and translate them into clearly-defined product requirements that drive our design and engineering work.\n\nOwn end-to-end roadmap for Engineering OS, including priorities, development schedule, and release sequencing.\n\nAuthor release communications for both existing customers and prospects, across every channel.\n\nWork with Product Managers across Heliux to ensure the platform is greater than the sum of its modules.\n\nAbout You:\nProven experience as a mechanical or electrical engineer designing and shipping complex hardware systems that are used in the field (i.e., not science projects).\n\nDeep familiarity with (and disdain for) the legacy tools used by hardware engineers, such as CAD, PDM, PLM, ERP, MES, etc.\n\nProven systems thinker who finds the root problem rather than the requested feature and converts it into clear product requirements.\n\nWillingness to be customer-facing-from the sales process, through deployment, and post-go-live.\n\nTechnical Environment:\nBackend: Rust, Python, high-performance backend services, APIs, data-intensive systems.\n\nFrontend: TypeScript, React, Next.js, real-time interfaces, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE).\n\nSystems/Integrations: C#, Electron\n\nDistributed Systems & Orchestration: durable workflow execution, Temporal, event-driven architectures, distributed systems\n\nInfrastructure: Terraform, AWS, Bedrock, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB\n\nSecurity/Compliance: CMMC, FedRAMP, ITAR\n\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive compensation package, including company equity.\n\nHealthcare coverage across medical, dental, and vision.\n\nCompany-provided lunch and dinner.\n\nUnlimited PTO.\n\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, health status, marital and family status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.\nITAR Requirements\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
