Develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing methods and procedures, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Analyze and design workflows, space and layout requirements, to ensure maximum efficiency in production processes. Modify production and inventory control programs to maintain and improve manufacturing digital control systems.
Collaborate with product development engineers to design and implement production processes for new products. Oversee and assess the production line and make recommendations for improvements. Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, machinery, and equipment.
Identify bottlenecks within the production process and develop solutions to eliminate them. Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements. Implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.
Maintain documentation and guide staff through production improvement processes. Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and updates. Ensure regulatory compliance, performing all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Works with other team members to develop new product and engineering designs and manufacturing and training methods. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed-
