You will establish and maintain relationships with vendors; oversee the purchasing and inventory of all incoming materials; bolster efficiency across the Operations department; and develop and implement Hellbender’s supply chain strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, and production planning; possess exceptional negotiating skills; and a proven ability to navigate the unique challenges of the electronics manufacturing industry.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement the supply chain strategy across the organization\nManage the relationship with suppliers: coordinate to confirm delivery schedules, negotiate contracts and pricing, and secure backup suppliers as needed - travel to new and existing customers is required\nIdentify and monitor KPIs across the supply chain process to record and improve overall departmental effectiveness\nManage lead times and inventory levels to ensure a steady flow of parts, components and materials for production\nCollaborate with other departments to identify and capitalize on strategic opportunities\nOwn and quickly resolve issues across the supply chain process\nDevelop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain\nQualifications, Skill, and Attributes:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred\n5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry\n3+ years of experience in an electromechanical product manufacturing environment utilizing high volume production processes such as SMT and PCB assembly highly preferred\nFluent in computer applications and relevant software including MS Office, ERP etc.\nExperience as both a project leader and individual contributor - ability to influence others while independently owning many aspects of a project\nExpert in negotiation tactics with previous experience negotiating contracts with vendors\nJob Type: Full-time\nBenefits:\n401(k)\n5% Safe Harbor Contribution to 401k by Hellbender\n100% of Health, Dental, and Vision insurance premiums for employees and their families paid by Hellbender\n7.5 weeks total Paid time off\nProfit Sharing (through 401k)\nHybrid work environment & flexible work schedule \nWork Location: UPARC Pittsburgh, PA\nTravel: Travel to and from vendors is required\nOpportunity for advancement:\nHellbender is a growing business and follows a policy that prioritizes internal promotions.
