If you thrive in a space where ideas accelerate, challenges spark growth, and making a difference is the goal, ViCentra is your next great adventure.\n\nYour Impact\nAs Software Engineer, iOS, you'll be a contributor to ViCentra's growing in-house mobile engineering team and to the long-term evolution of the Kaleido App. The app is currently built by an external partner, and once delivered, full ownership transitions to ViCentra and to the team you'll help lead. You'll take the app forward through maintenance, enhancement, and future feature development, keeping it robust, user-focused, and compliant with medical-device regulations.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role with real-world impact, building iOS software in Swift that interfaces with regulated medical devices and is used every day by people who depend on it. Working closely with the Mobile Engineering Manager and cross-functional teams, you'll set technical direction and coding standards for the iOS codebase, mentor less experienced engineers, and directly shape patient safety, product quality, and ViCentra's ability to scale its technology globally.\nWhat You’ll Take On\nIn your role, you will:\nDesign, implement, and maintain iOS applications (Swift) used in conjunction with ViCentra's medical devices.\n\nLead and contribute to projects across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through testing, release, and maintenance.\n\nSet technical direction and coding standards for the iOS codebase, writing clean, well-structured, and testable code aligned with design specifications and best practices.\n\nLead peer code reviews and mentor less experienced engineers, driving knowledge sharing across the mobile team.\n\nSupport verification, validation, and release activities, including the required quality system documentation.\n\nEnsure compliance with the Quality Management System and applicable medical device standards.\n\nCollaborate closely with usability, testing, systems, cloud, quality, and regulatory teams.\n\nContribute to building a best-in-class mobile development environment within a regulated context.\n\nStay current with iOS and mobile development trends, continuously raising the technical bar for the team.\n\nRequirements\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor's degree in software/computer engineering, or equivalent experience.\n\nAn extensive track record in iOS development with Swift, 5+ years of professional experience.\n\nExperience across all development stages, including software architecture and design, testing, release, and maintenance.\n\nSolid understanding of software testing practices for embedded applications, including unit and integration testing.\n\nStrong technical writing and communication skills, with fluency in English.\n\nA proven track record of delivering to time within a multi-disciplinary project team.\n\n(preferred) experience in the medical devices or regulated software industry.\n\n(preferred) familiarity with standards such as IEC 60601-1, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, and FDA 21 CFR 820.\n\n(preferred) experience with automated testing for mobile applications, Android development, or cloud backend development for app data.\n\nLife at ViCentra\nWorking at ViCentra means joining a team defined by:\nCourage to create: We experiment, challenge norms, and learn fast.\n\nTrust above all: Integrity, honesty, and openness shape our relationships.\n\nCustomer-first mindset: Every idea is measured by the impact on those we serve.\n\nA drive for excellence: We hold ourselves to the highest standard because lives depend on it.\n\nOur days move fast, fueled by curiosity, diverse perspectives, and a love for collaboration.
