The incumbent will support the organisation's transition from Qlik to Power BI, contribute to new initiatives such as OKRs, and provide technical guidance and training to junior team members. HIGH-LEVEL ROLE OBJECTIVES\n\n 1. Power BI Reporting & Visualisation\n\n Design, build and maintain reliable Power BI dashboards and reports that present business performance clearly and support informed decision-making.\n\n 2. Advanced Analytics\n\n Apply analytical techniques to identify trends, drivers, anomalies and opportunities, and translate findings into practical business recommendations.\n\n 3. Automation & AI\n\n Identify and implement opportunities to automate repeatable BI and analytical processes, including appropriate use of Python and AI-enabled solutions.\n\n 4. Data Modelling & SQL\n\n Develop efficient SQL queries, semantic models and reusable data structures that support accurate, scalable and well-governed reporting.\n\n 5. BI Platform Transition\n\n Support the migration from Qlik to Power BI by rebuilding priority reporting, validating outputs and helping establish consistent Power BI practices.\n\n 6. OKR & Performance Insights\n\n Contribute analytical support to OKR and performance-management initiatives, including measurement design, reporting and progress visibility.\n\n 7. Data Quality & Governance\n\n Promote data accuracy, clear definitions, traceability and appropriate controls across BI solutions and analytical outputs.\n\n 8. Stakeholder Partnership\n\n Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenge assumptions where needed and deliver fit-for-purpose analytical solutions.\n\n 9. Mentoring & Knowledge Transfer\n\n Guide and train junior BI staff through coaching, review, documentation and the sharing of technical and analytical best practices.\n\n 10. Continuous Improvement\n\n Continually improve reporting performance, development standards, delivery processes and the overall adoption of data-driven decision-making.\n\nDesired Experience & Qualification\n3.
