You will be responsible for executing manufacturing processes and directives while ensuring full compliance with all safety standards and GMP guidelines across the team.\nIn this role, you will continuously identify and drive measurable improvements in performance, focusing on data-driven KPIs and operational efficiency. You will also collaborate closely with the Maintenance Team to support automation initiatives and preventative maintenance programs, ensuring minimal downtime and reliable production operations.\nWhat you will be doing:\nUsing the appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals conduct machine calibration, centerlining and minor preventative maintenance.\nInspect, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on machinery and equipment by identifying malfunctions, adjusting settings, and replacing minor faulty parts as needed to ensure safe operation and minimize downtime. Collaborate with the Maintenance team on major repairs and component replacements.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the availability of all raw materials, packaging, and consumables necessary to execute the production plan on time and in full.\nAssist with supervision, coordination, and scheduling of production associates, machine operators, and automation technicians to support efficient and consistent manufacturing operations.\nMonitor execution of the production plan, address operational challenges, and implement measures to improve productivity and performance; communicate required plan adjustments to stakeholders.\nAssist with communicating goals, targets, and operational updates to associates and leadership, while coordinating shift activities, monitoring performance, and escalating production or personnel issues as needed. \nTrain and onboard new associates on manufacturing equipment, ensuring understanding of job duties, safety procedures, and company policies. \nUse personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, and report workplace hazards or unsafe conditions to supervision or management.\nOperate material handling equipment such as walkies and stackers to move and position materials as required.\nComplete required documentation and administrative reports in a timely and accurate manner.\nMaintain and store department inventory, including consumables, ensure accurate recordkeeping, and place orders to replenish stock as needed.\nEnsure full compliance with company safety policies, GMP guidelines, SOPs, and all HelloFresh policies, as well as applicable provincial regulations and standards.\nOther duties as assigned.\nAt a minimum, you have: \nPost-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience\nMinimum 1 year experience operating machinery in a food processing, manufacturing, or service environment\nDemonstrated ability to champion team success by providing hands-on leadership and coaching to ensure consistent performance standards\nExperience in inventory management and control\nStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with ability to compile, interpret, and analyze data\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and video conferencing tools (e.g., Google Meet)\nAbility to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written\nProven ability to work calmly under pressure in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments\nAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, squatting, and twisting\nWilling and able to work in refrigerated environments (0°C to 4°C)\nMaterial Handling Equipment (MHE) certification considered an asset; ability to operate equipment as required\nFlexible to work overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays as required\nWhat you’ll get in return:\nCompetitive salary and health benefits\nShift premiums are available for afternoon and overnight shifts \n75% discount on HelloFresh or Chefs Plate weekly box subscription\nHigh impact work to help feed thousands of families in Canada\nOpportunity to learn and grow\nWork with a hard-working and supportive team\nWorking Conditions:\nIt’s no surprise that as a food company, we use many ingredients that may be considered common allergens (i.e. peanuts, tree nuts, milk, etc.).
