Reporting to the Associate Director, Accounting & Taxation, you will act as a business partner to the operations team to assist in weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of financial results. As part of the Finance team, you will play a key role in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting packages.\nLettuce share what this role will be responsible for\nTake ownership of key areas of the financial statements by collecting and verifying financial information and providing supporting schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy of P&L and balance sheet accounts\nDevelop and maintain accurate accounting processes and procedures for inventory, accruals and leases, including IFRS 16 assessments\nPartner with procurement, operation and data teams to continuously drive improvement in our internal controls and financial reporting processes\nAct as a business partner to bridge accounting actuals to budget and forecast in collaboration with FP&A, striving to continuously improve on the transparency of financial results provided to stakeholders\nProactively develop and implement processes to accommodate the growth of the Factor brand\nAssist with the interim and year-end internal and external audit requirements\nMentor intermediate and junior accounting team members, supporting with the teams growth\nAssess accounting treatment for new projects and ventures, develop reports and present to management needed\nOther duties, as assigned \nSound a-peeling? Here's what we're looking for\n3-4 years experience working in full-cycle accounting or experience in Public accounting\nYou have a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting \nYou have a CPA designation\nYou have strong knowledge of IFRS, including technical accounting and reporting requirements\nYou are proficient in using Excel (Advanced level), Gemini Pro & Claude\nYou have strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal\nYour attention to detail is renowned.
