The Deliveries squad is looking for a Senior React Native Engineer with iOS knowledge to build and evolve the delivery planning, tracking, scheduling experiences across our mobile & web apps. While this role is aligned to a specific Squad, Tribe & Alliance, strong candidates may also be considered for opportunities across different teams or projects.\nWhat you’ll do: The Recipe\nAt HelloFresh we are moving away from a model where software developers just execute tickets toward one where product engineers are trusted to own customer problems. A Product Engineer takes a problem, forms a point of view, validates it with customers and data, and ships it using AI as a force multiplier. \nBuild and improve the delivery and orderflows in our React Native apps, from problem definition through to production and measurement\nRun experiments on high-traffic, revenue-critical surfaces, and use the results to decide what ships next\nCollaborate with engineers across the department and the company to continuously improve the code base, systems, and processes\nDesign and develop solutions that can continue to scale\nSupport other team members through workshops, pair programming, and code reviews\nWork beyond your specialization when the problem demands it. Your specialization is your anchor, not your boundary.\nOperate what you build. You instrument, monitor, and improve your systems in production. Shipping is the beginning of the learning cycle, not the end.\nContribute to the app experience, owning the metrics that reflect quality for customers (delivery accuracy, crash-free sessions, performance).\nWhat you’ll bring: The Ingredients \nHands-on experience working with AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) beyond casual experimentation. You use AI agents every day. You have a practical sense of how the context you provide to AI tools shapes output quality, and how to set boundaries on AI-generated work.\nAt least 2-3 years of hands-on work with React Native\nA minimum of 5 years of experience working with Mobile or Web technologies\nNice to have: a working knowledge of native iOS development (Swift/Objective-C, Xcode, CocoaPods/SPM) sufficient to debug, extend, or write native modules and bridges when React Native isn't enough\nProficiency in building component-based architectures\nUnderstanding of integrating frontend and backend services seamlessly\nFamiliarity with CI/CD workflows, along with solid testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing\nStrong collaboration skills when partnering with engineers and other functional roles, like product management and UX designer.\nYou take full ownership. You have a bias to ship. You finish the last twenty percent. \nYou have product sense and are opinionated about what should be built and why, and you can back that opinion with data and user evidence.\nStrong mobile engineering expertise, with experience across the app release cycle, test automation, on-device performance and platform UX conventions.\nAbove all, we are looking for individuals who will make HelloFresh better.
