In this role, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by managing and improving our Nordic accounting processes while reporting to our Head of Accounting & Controlling.\nWhat You'll Do (The Recipe)\nServe as the functional owner and subject matter expert for Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and inventory accounting across two warehouses and three Nordic markets in a fast-paced, high-volume business environment.\n\nConduct in-depth variance analysis of pricing fluctuations, raw material costs, and packaging expenses, providing actionable financial insights to leadership.\n\nManage end-to-end reporting and month-end close activities for COGS and packaging, ensuring accuracy and timely financial reporting.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives for workflows outside the month-end close (MEC) process to streamline closing timelines and improve visibility into margin performance.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Supply Chain, and warehouse operations teams to investigate discrepancies, resolve issues at the source, and ensure alignment between operational changes and financial reporting.\n\nSupport audit readiness, month-end close procedures, and ad hoc controllership projects as a key member of the Finance team.\n\nWhat You'll Bring (The Ingredients)\nPassion, drive, and excellent communication skills.\n\nA bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.\n\nAt least 5 years of experience working in finance or accounting.\n\nPrevious experience in a fast-paced business environment, with hands-on experience in inventory and COGS accounting.\n\nStrong attention to detail and an understanding of data structures, complex systems, and workflows.\n\nStrong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.\n\nA keen interest in financial systems and experience working with ERP systems.
