Senior Logistics Analyst, Outbound

The Senior Analyst, Outbound Logistics is a strategic, high-ownership role responsible for managing HelloFresh Canada's carrier network across both last mile and middle mile. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all carrier relationships - from onboarding new partners to holding the existing network accountable for quality and cost performance.

While the Systems and Analytics teams provide the tools and data, you are the operator who turns insight into action: renegotiating rates, escalating service failures, shaping network strategy, and continuously raising the bar on what "great" looks like for Canadian logistics.

Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for:

Carrier Management & Accountability

• Own day-to-day and strategic relationships with last mile and middle mile carriers across the Canadian network
• Hold carriers accountable to agreed KPIs, with a focus on On-Time Performance (OTP) and Contactless Completion (CC) error rates
• Lead regular business reviews, issue escalations, and corrective action plans with carrier partners

Onboarding & Network Expansion

• Lead end-to-end onboarding of new carrier partners, including operational setup, system integration, and readiness validation
• Identify network gaps and proactively source, evaluate, and onboard partners to fill them

Cost Strategy & Optimization

• Own carrier cost performance across the network; develop and execute a roadmap to continuously reduce cost per shipment without compromising service quality
• Lead rate negotiations and contract renewals; benchmark carrier pricing against market and identify savings opportunities
• Partner with Finance and Analytics to model cost scenarios and quantify the impact of network changes

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor OTP, CC errors, and other service metrics; identify root causes and drive resolution with carriers
• Develop and maintain scorecards and reporting frameworks that create transparency and drive accountability
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement across the carrier base

Network Strategy

• Contribute to the long-term logistics network strategy for Canada, including carrier diversification, regional coverage, and resilience planning
• Translate business growth plans into network requirements; proactively adjust carrier mix and capacity to stay ahead of demand

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with Systems, Analytics, Customer Experience, and Operations teams to align carrier performance with broader business goals
• Act as the voice of the carrier network internally, surfacing risks, opportunities, and trade-offs to leadership
• All other duties, as assigned

Sound a-peeling? Here's what we're looking for: 

• 3-5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations, with a focus on carrier management, partner onboarding, and network optimization
• Demonstrated experience managing carriers against performance KPIs (OTP, damage rates, service failures) and leading corrective action processes
• Strong commercial acumen - comfortable with rate negotiations, contract management, and cost modelling
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets; able to build and manage performance scorecards, cost trackers, and cross-referenced datasets independently
• Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and routing or logistics platforms
• Analytical mindset - able to identify trends in carrier performance data and translate them into clear action plans
• Excellent stakeholder management skills; comfortable holding external partners accountable while maintaining productive working relationships
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with low error tolerance when managing carrier data, service areas, and network configurations
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects forward without a dedicated team
• Experience in e-commerce, meal kit, or high-volume B2C logistics is an asset
