Collaboration is sought to lead this transition and shape the global customer experience. As a Senior UX Strategist & Researcher within the UX practice, the service provider will hold accountability for delivering work from ambiguous brief to strategic outcome and implementation. This involves defining project needs, deploying innovative research approaches, prototyping strategic directions rather than merely presenting findings, and delivering decision artifacts directly to executive forums.\nThe role focuses on shaping which questions are asked, stress-testing business assumptions before capital is allocated, and actively participating in driving strategic choices. The provider will utilize AI fluently as a creative and strategic partner throughout the product lifecycle. Strategy and research form the primary technical focus, supplemented by collaboration across interface design, service design, and content workflows. This role does not include people management responsibilities.\nAt HelloTech, flexibility and cross-functional collaboration are core to how we work. While this role is aligned to a specific Alliance, strong candidates may also be considered for opportunities across different teams or projects.\nWhat you’ll do: The Recipe\nLead strategic research for insights to action: Maintain end-to-end accountability for research and strategy work streams-from initial scoping through execution to insight delivery and application-balancing primary, secondary, qualitative, and quantitative methodologies.\nShape experiences across the ecosystem: Partner with product, design, marketing, operations, and business teams to evaluate and design experiences across the full customer and service ecosystem.\nShape the strategic agenda: Proactively identify initiatives requiring risk mitigation, evaluate briefs prior to execution, and link findings directly to business decisions, market context, and KPIs.\n Influence at strategic altitude: Influence decision-makers (often at VP/SVP level) by preparing formats that facilitate clear decisions. Build visual directions, opportunity frameworks, and concept artifacts that make tradeoffs tangible.\nDesign and lead alignment sessions: Lead co-creation and alignment workshops end-to-end, steering cross-functional teams from analytical findings to clear strategic direction.\nMake insight visible: Develop prototypes, concept visualizations, and service scenarios, integrating AI to compress the gap between insight generation and strategic expression.\nSelect optimal methodologies: Apply foundational, generative, or evaluative methodologies tailored to context, execution speed, and technical rigor.\nOperate AI-native workflows: Integrate AI across all stages-from problem framing and study scoping through to analysis, synthesis, and strategic recommendations. Prototype directions, generate decision-informed materials, and apply critical oversight to evaluate model outputs.\nEnable cross-disciplinary execution: Utilize AI to support interface design, service design, and content generation, producing deliverables that meet established baseline quality thresholds. Share effective workflows to remove execution friction across the broader UX function.\nWhat you’ll bring: The Ingredients \n5+ years of experience in UX research, UX strategy, Service Design, or a related field within a product or technology environment.\nRobust mixed-methods toolkit with strong judgment regarding the practical application of qualitative and quantitative techniques.\nProven track record influencing VP/SVP-level stakeholders, driving strategic direction and operational decisions.\nDemonstrated capability in structuring and leading alignment workshops and co-creation sessions with cross-functional partners.\nAbility to prototype and visualize strategic direction independently using concept sketches, low-fidelity prototypes, service blueprints, or AI-assisted artifacts.\nAdvanced strategic storytelling and visual communication skills, producing deliverables designed to drive actionable decisions.\nEstablished AI-native workflow practice within research and strategy, with clear insights into AI capabilities, limitations, and live project integration.\nCommercial acumen: ability to evaluate research within the context of business trade-offs, market factors, and economic implications.\nT-shaped skill profile: deep strategy and research capabilities combined with a functional working knowledge of interface design, service design, and UX writing.\nAbove all, we are looking for individuals who will make HelloFresh better.
