If you want to bring your experience, skill and passion to make a lasting impact in healthcare, we’d like to meet you. \nABOUT THE ROLE \nWe are looking for a Product Engineer, Care Delivery to help design and build the next generation of operational and AI-powered tools that support care delivery across our clinics. \nThis role sits at the intersection of care model operations, product management, and the data and AI platform teams. You will work closely with frontline clinical and operational teams to understand workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and rapidly build software solutions that enhance how care is delivered. \nYou will leverage shared data infrastructure, platform capabilities, and AI infrastructure developed by our data and AI platform teams to create workflow applications and operational tooling that drive meaningful outcomes for frontline care teams. \nThe tools you build may include: \nCare team-facing workflow applications that support value based care initiatives \nAI-assisted tools that automate administrative work in clinics or enhance clinical decision-making \nEmbedded workflows within our EHR ecosystem \nLightweight standalone applications that improve operational efficiency \nInternal tools that help care teams coordinate, prioritize, and deliver longitudinal patient care \nThis is a highly cross-functional, high-agency role for someone who enjoys moving quickly, working closely with end users, and building thoughtful software that solves real operational problems. \nYou will partner closely with Product Management on prioritization, workflow discovery, and problem definition, while maintaining significant ownership over technical design, implementation, and delivery. \nRESPONSIBILITIES \nPartner closely with care teams, operational leaders, and product managers to understand workflows and identify opportunities for improvement \nDesign, build, and deploy high-quality applications and workflow tooling that support clinic operations and care delivery \nLeverage internal platform capabilities, data assets, APIs, and AI infrastructure to rapidly prototype and productionize new solutions \nBuild user-facing experiences that are intuitive, reliable, and deeply integrated into clinical workflows \nDevelop AI-enhanced operational tools that reduce administrative burden and improve care team effectiveness \nTranslate ambiguous operational challenges into scalable technical solutions \nIterate quickly based on user feedback and operational outcomes \nCollaborate with Data and AI Platform teams to shape reusable platform primitives and workflow capabilities \nContribute to the evolution of our internal tooling ecosystem and operational technology strategy \nHelp establish best practices for rapidly building and deploying workflow applications in a healthcare environment \nABOUT YOU \nYou are a high-agency builder who enjoys owning problems end-to-end \nYou are energized by working closely with users and embedding deeply within operational workflows \nYou have strong product intuition and care about building polished, usable software \nYou thrive in fast-paced startup environments with evolving priorities and ambiguity \nYou are comfortable balancing speed, pragmatism, and technical quality \nYou enjoy collaborating across technical and non-technical teams \nYou are excited about applying AI capabilities to real-world operational challenges \nYou care about building systems that meaningfully improve how healthcare is delivered \nFrom a cultural perspective, you are: \nAccountable. The plan will change and the priorities will shift - you make smart calls with what you have and course-correct with good judgement when things evolve. \nADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS \n3+ years of experience building customer-facing or operational software applications \nBackground in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical field \nExperience building full-stack applications or workflow tooling in modern development environments \nFamiliarity with APIs, data platforms and models, and integrating across multiple systems \nAbility to independently design and implement technical solutions with limited oversight \nStrong written and verbal communication skills \nExperience working in high-growth or fast-moving environments preferred \nExperience in healthcare, care delivery, or other operationally intensive service industries is a plus \nFamiliarity with AI-enabled applications, LLM workflows, or agentic systems is a plus \nYou live in Central (CT) or Eastern Time (EST) Zones\nIn accordance with the Illinois Pay Transparency Act, we’re providing the full salary range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, relevant experience and qualifications. Most offers will fall within a portion of the listed range. This position has a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 annually, based on location, relevant experience and qualifications.
