The role will be responsible for the administration, development, optimisation, and ongoing support of Atlassian platforms, ensuring they deliver maximum value to technical and business teams across the organisation.\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable solutions within Jira and Confluence, driving platform enhancements, automating workflows, and supporting enterprise-wide collaboration. The role will work closely with Technology, Engineering, Delivery, PMO, Risk, and Business stakeholders to ensure the Atlassian toolset aligns with organisational objectives and best practices.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with stakeholder engagement and has a passion for improving team productivity and operational efficiency through modern collaboration platforms.\nResponsibilities\nAdminister, configure, maintain, and enhance Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence environments.\nDesign and implement complex workflows, automation rules, issue types, schemes, permissions, and custom configurations.\nDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, filters, and metrics to support business and technology teams.\nManage system upgrades, integrations, and application lifecycle activities across the Atlassian landscape.\nCollaborate with engineering and delivery teams to implement Agile and DevOps best practices within Jira.\nSupport enterprise roadmap planning and governance through effective tool configuration and reporting.\nIntegrate Atlassian products with third-party platforms using APIs and connectors where required.\nProvide technical guidance and support to users, ensuring effective adoption of Jira and Confluence capabilities.\nCreate and maintain platform documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.\nMaintain platform security, compliance, access controls, and audit requirements.\nTroubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.\nParticipate in platform strategy discussions and contribute to long-term Atlassian roadmap development.\nWork closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.\n Demonstrate proven experience administering and engineering Atlassian platforms, including Jira and Confluence.\nApply strong knowledge of Jira workflows, permissions, schemes, screen configurations, and automation capabilities.\nBring experience with Jira Service Management and Agile project structures.\nUnderstand Atlassian integrations, REST APIs, webhooks, and Marketplace applications.\nDemonstrate experience delivering platform enhancements within large enterprise environments.\nApply strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.\nSupport Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or DevOps methodologies in technology environments.\nCommunicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nDemonstrate strong documentation and knowledge-management skills.\nUnderstand identity and access management principles.\nBring experience working within regulated and complex environments.\nHold Atlassian certifications such as ACP, Atlassian Administration, or equivalent, desirable.\nApply scripting and automation tools such as Groovy, ScriptRunner, PowerShell, or Python, desirable.\nDemonstrate knowledge of cloud migration projects and Atlassian Cloud administration, desirable.\nBring experience implementing enterprise governance and reporting frameworks, desirable.\nDemonstrate exposure to CI/CD tooling and software development lifecycle processes, desirable.\nBring financial services or highly regulated industry experience, desirable.\n Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where the position is based, without requiring employer sponsorship.\nHelloKindred is committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive hiring practices.
