This role is responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that strategic objectives are translated into clear business requirements and successful project outcomes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving business change, process improvement, and technology transformation initiatives across multiple workstreams.\nThe ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering business analysis activities within complex environments. Experience within the financial services sector is highly desirable, particularly in supporting regulatory, operational, risk, data, or technology change programmes.\nResponsibilities\nElicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements through workshops, interviews, process reviews, and stakeholder engagement activities.\nCollaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, product owners, architects, and technical teams to define solutions that meet business needs.\nProduce high-quality documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, User Stories, Process Maps, Gap Analyses, and Data Requirements.\nFacilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, define scope, and achieve agreement on project deliverables.\nAnalyse current business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement, automation, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.\nSupport the development of target operating models, business process redesign, and transformation initiatives.\nWork closely with development and testing teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented.\nAssist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test execution, defect management, and business sign-off.\nConduct impact assessments, risk analysis, and change management activities where required.\nSupport programme governance by providing updates, status reports, requirements traceability, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure solutions align with organisational objectives, regulatory requirements, and best practice standards.\n Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within large-scale change, transformation, or technology programmes.\nStrong understanding of business analysis methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.\nDemonstrated experience gathering and documenting complex business and functional requirements.\nExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.\nExperience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a fast-paced environment.\nExperience facilitating workshops and leading requirements-gathering sessions.\nExperience within banking, financial services, capital markets, insurance, or other regulated environments is desirable.\nKnowledge of regulatory change initiatives and industry standards is advantageous.\nFamiliarity with data analysis, process modelling, and business process improvement techniques is beneficial.\nExperience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms is preferred.\nProfessional certifications such as BCS Business Analysis, CBAP, Agile BA, or equivalent are desirable.\nEligibility to meet BPSS clearance requirements.\nAbility to work onsite in Sheffield three days per week.\nWillingness and ability to work through an umbrella company under PAYE arrangements.\n Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where the position is based, without requiring employer sponsorship.\nHelloKindred is committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive hiring practices.
