Lead the bank's migration from traditional desktop management technologies to a fully modern management model leveraging Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Windows Autopilot, and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.\nCombine deep technical subject matter expertise with strong programme leadership skills, operating across global teams to define strategy, drive execution, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, Operations, Risk, and Business Technology teams to establish a next-generation desktop management capability at enterprise scale.\nResponsibilities\nTransformation Leadership\nDefine and own the enterprise roadmap for Modern Management across the global desktop estate.\nLead a large-scale transformation programme focused on replacing legacy endpoint management solutions with cloud-native management capabilities.\nDevelop business cases, transformation strategies, target operating models, and migration plans.\nDrive stakeholder alignment across Infrastructure, Security, Risk, Compliance, Architecture, and Business leadership teams.\nEnsure successful delivery against programme milestones, budgets, risks, and business outcomes.\nModern Workplace and Endpoint Management SME\nAct as the bank's technical authority for Microsoft Intune and Modern Management technologies across all desktop types, including physical and virtual environments.\nSupport engineering teams in defining standards for device provisioning and lifecycle management, Windows Autopilot, co-management and cloud attach strategies, application deployment and packaging, configuration management, endpoint security and compliance, and update and patch management.\nProvide expert guidance on Intune architecture, scalability, resilience, and operational readiness.\nProgramme Delivery\nLead cross-functional global delivery teams operating across multiple regions and business units.\nEstablish programme governance, reporting, RAID management, and executive communications.\nManage vendor and partner relationships supporting transformation activities.\nCoordinate dependencies across infrastructure, identity, networking, security, and workplace technology teams.\nDrive adoption, change management, and operational handover activities.\nSecurity and Risk Management\nEnsure endpoint management solutions align with banking regulatory requirements and security policies.\nCollaborate with Cyber Security teams to implement Zero Trust principles.\nEmbed security controls through device compliance, conditional access, endpoint protection, and privileged access management.\nSupport audit, risk, and regulatory reviews relating to workplace technology platforms.\nService Excellence\nEstablish operational standards and service metrics for modern management services.\nDrive continuous improvement of desktop engineering processes and tooling.\nDevelop KPI and reporting frameworks to measure transformation success, adoption, compliance, and user experience.\nSupport transition into business-as-usual (BAU) operations and service ownership models.\n Significant experience leading enterprise endpoint management transformations within large, complex organisations.\nProven track record of delivering global workplace transformation programmes involving 20,000+ endpoints.\nDeep expertise in Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management technologies.\nExperience migrating from legacy management platforms, including Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Group Policy, traditional imaging solutions, and third-party endpoint management platforms.\nBackground working in highly regulated environments such as Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Government.\nStrong stakeholder management capabilities, including presenting to executive leadership and architecture governance forums.\nDemonstrable experience managing large-scale technology programmes with multiple workstreams and delivery teams.\nEssential Technical Skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Windows Autopilot.\nExpertise in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access, endpoint security policies, Windows Update for Business, configuration profiles, and compliance policies.\nStrong knowledge of application packaging and deployment, Microsoft 365 endpoint management, and PowerShell automation.\nUnderstanding of Zero Trust architecture and its application to enterprise endpoint management.\nDesirable Technical Skills\nExperience managing macOS devices through Intune and mobile devices using iOS and Android Mobile Device Management (MDM).\nFamiliarity with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365.\nKnowledge of the Microsoft Defender Suite and Endpoint Analytics.\nExperience integrating endpoint management solutions with ServiceNow.\nExposure to Workspace ONE or MobileIron migration projects.\nFamiliarity with enterprise architecture
