The role will assess the existing SOC technology and data landscape, identify viable AI use cases, and define a secure target architecture and delivery roadmap.\nResponsibilities\nAssess the existing SOC architecture, including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, case management, and security data platforms.\nEvaluate SOC data availability, quality, and suitability for AI-enabled use cases.\nIdentify opportunities for AI augmentation across alert triage, enrichment, investigation, threat intelligence, incident summarisation, detection engineering, and reporting.\nEvaluate appropriate AI patterns, including machine learning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), generative AI, assistants, and agentic approaches.\nDetermine when conventional automation or process improvement is more appropriate than AI.\nDefine integration patterns between AI services and existing cyber security platforms.\nIdentify security, privacy, assurance, and human-in-the-loop requirements.\nAssess risks associated with hallucinations, prompt injection, sensitive-data exposure, and inappropriate autonomous actions.\nPrioritise use cases based on business value, feasibility, data availability, complexity, and risk.\nIdentify technical dependencies, constraints, and implementation considerations.\nProduce an AI use-case and feasibility assessment.\nDocument data and integration requirements.\nDevelop a build-versus-buy options assessment.\nDefine security and assurance considerations.\nDevelop the target architecture and implementation roadmap.\nDocument technical risks, dependencies, and assumptions.\n Demonstrate expertise in AI solution architecture and technical design.\nPossess knowledge of generative AI, large language models (LLMs), RAG, and agentic AI patterns.\nUnderstand cyber security operations and Security Operations Centre (SOC) technologies.\nHave experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and security tooling integration.\nDemonstrate knowledge of data architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.\nUnderstand cloud architecture and AI platform design.\nApply AI security, assurance, and responsible AI principles.\nConduct technical options analysis and feasibility assessments.\nDesign human-in-the-loop controls and appropriate AI governance mechanisms.\nCommunicate technical concepts clearly and engage effectively with stakeholders.\nMeet the UK or dual-nationality requirement.\nHold or meet the requirements for SC Security Clearance.\n Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where the position is based, without requiring employer sponsorship.\nHelloKindred is committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive hiring practices.
