This role is responsible for overseeing multiple interconnected projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing key stakeholder relationships, and driving successful programme outcomes from initiation through to completion.\nThe successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering transformational change programmes, ideally within the financial services sector, where governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational resilience are critical to success.\nResponsibilities\nLead the end-to-end delivery of strategic programmes, ensuring objectives, timelines, budgets, and benefits are successfully achieved.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive programme plans, roadmaps, and delivery schedules.\nCoordinate multiple workstreams and project teams to ensure alignment and effective execution across the programme lifecycle.\nEstablish and maintain robust governance frameworks, ensuring appropriate reporting, escalation, and decision-making processes.\nManage programme budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, and financial controls.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate programme risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts.\nBuild strong relationships with senior stakeholders, business leaders, technology teams, and third-party suppliers.\nDrive programme reporting and provide regular updates to executive leadership and steering committees.\nEnsure programme delivery adheres to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and organisational standards.\nSupport business readiness activities, including communications, training, operational transition, and benefits realisation.\nPromote continuous improvement and best practice programme management methodologies across the organisation.\nFacilitate strategic decision-making by providing insight into programme performance, risks, and opportunities.\n Significant experience delivering complex programmes within large enterprise environments.\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality and control.\nStrong understanding of programme and project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.\nExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at executive level.\nStrong financial management capabilities, including budget planning, forecasting, and cost control.\nDemonstrable experience managing programme governance, risk management, and regulatory oversight.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams across business and technology domains.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.\nProficiency in project and programme management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, and the Microsoft Office suite.\nPrevious experience within banking, financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated sectors is desirable.\nExperience delivering digital transformation, operational resilience, risk, regulatory, technology, data, or infrastructure programmes is advantageous.\nKnowledge of regulatory frameworks and governance requirements applicable to financial institutions is preferred.\nProfessional certifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, Agile Practitioner, SAFe, or equivalent are desirable.\nStrong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities, with a highly organised and delivery-focused approach.\nAbility to operate effectively in complex and fast-paced environments.\nResilience, adaptability, and confidence managing ambiguity.\nCollaborative approach with excellent interpersonal skills.\nCommitment to driving successful business outcomes through effective programme leadership.\nEligibility to meet BPSS clearance requirements.\nAbility to work onsite in Sheffield three days per week.\nWillingness and ability to work through an umbrella company under PAYE arrangements.\n Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where the position is based, without requiring employer sponsorship.\nHelloKindred is committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive hiring practices.
