Additional vetting may apply and can extend onboarding.\nEngagement: PAYE via umbrella company only\nMax Supplier Charge: £700 per day\nSector: MALS\nEnd User: Capgemini\nOur client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for an experienced SAP Payroll Consultant (ideally 10+ years’ experience) to lead discovery, shape the solution, and provide hands-on delivery support. The role will ensure compliance with HMRC’s mandatory Payrolling of Benefits (PBIK) legislation, effective from April 2027, and will move the client from P11D-based reporting to a real-time payroll process for taxable benefits.\nWhat you will do:\nWork directly with the client’s Payroll, HR, Tax and IT stakeholders to run a discovery exercise and assess the current SAP Payroll landscape.\nAssess existing SAP Payroll processes, interfaces and benefit administration arrangements.\nCarry out a detailed gap analysis against HMRC Payrolling of Benefits requirements.\nDefine the target SAP Payroll solution and supporting business processes.\nSupport development, configuration and testing of SAP Payroll enhancements.\nEnsure compliance with HMRC Real Time Information (RTI) requirements.\nSupport delivery of a production-ready solution within the required HMRC timelines.\nTransfer knowledge to the client’s payroll and application support teams.\nWhat we’re looking for:\nExtensive SAP HCM Payroll experience, with strong SAP UK Payroll functional expertise.\nExperience with SAP Payroll schemas and rules.\nExperience of payroll-related SAP developments and customisations.\nExperience supporting payroll integrations and interfaces.\nExperience with HR and payroll data structures within SAP.\nStrong understanding of UK payroll legislation, and experience supporting HMRC compliance initiatives.\nUnderstanding of RTI reporting processes.\nKnowledge of taxable benefits and benefits-in-kind taxation.\nExperience of payroll compliance and audit requirements.\n Ideally 10+ years’ experience as a senior SAP HCM Payroll consultant.\nStrong SAP UK Payroll functional expertise.\nStrong understanding of UK payroll legislation and RTI reporting.\nFluent English (the only language requirement listed).\n Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where the position is based, without requiring employer sponsorship.\nHelloKindred is committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive hiring practices.
