The role will focus on service quality, SLA improvement, automation, security, high availability, and compliance with established policies and best practices.\nWhat you will do:\nDesign and support database technology solutions in line with defined scope, effort, schedules, quality standards, and best practices.\nMaintain and improve SLAs while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and standards.\nAnalyse day-to-day processes proactively and identify opportunities to automate repetitive and standardised tasks.\nApply global best practices to support diverse customer groups and maintain a thorough understanding of database environments and underlying technology.\nWork closely with stakeholders to facilitate knowledge sharing, training, and enhanced service delivery.\nAnalyse functional and business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\nProvide production support and release management for database environments.\nDefine physical database designs and support the implementation of technical solutions to complex commercial requirements.\nBuild, review, quality-assure, implement, and support application database releases.\nImplement and manage RACF/ACF2 Db2 security rules and access authorities.\nBuild and maintain high-availability and replication setups while coordinating with application and infrastructure teams.\nSupport data conversion and migration activities.\nIdentify and resolve processing anomalies, system errors, and complex database issues.\n Possess significant experience working on large, complex projects in an architectural or senior database role.\nHave strong Db2 database administration and technical support experience in enterprise environments.\nProvide production support and release management for database environments.\nTranslate business and functional requirements into clear technical specifications.\nApply expertise in physical database design and application database releases.\nMaintain hands-on experience with RACF/ACF2 Db2 security rules and access authority.\nBuild and maintain high-availability and replication setups across complex environments.\nSupport data conversion and migration activities.\nApply strong problem determination skills to identify and control processing anomalies and system errors.\nCommunicate complex technical information clearly through strong written and verbal communication skills.\nBuild effective relationships and networks across business and technical areas.\nIdentify automation opportunities and improve efficiency through process automation.\nHold banking or financial services experience; beneficial.\n Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where the position is based, without requiring employer sponsorship.\nHelloKindred is committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive hiring practices.
