HelloKindred is a talent company founded in 2009 that places marketing, creative and digital specialists with employers on a flexible basis, working across the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and South Africa. It concentrates deliberately on marketing and creative roles rather than general technology recruitment, supplying designers, content specialists, campaign managers, digital producers and marketing technologists on contract, project or fractional terms. Headquartered in London, it advertises client vacancies under its own name and pitches flexible senior talent as an alternative to permanent hires in a function where workload arrives in bursts.

Who is HelloKindred?

HelloKindred are specialists in staffing marketing, creative and technology roles, offering a range of talent solutions that can be delivered on-site, remotely or hybrid.

Our vision is to make work accessible and people’s lives better. We do this by disrupting traditional employment barriers - connecting ambitious talent to flexible opportunities with trusted brands.

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: February 2027 250 hours from start date

Work set up: Hybrid (occasional office attendance and travel to London as required; primarily remote)

Our client in the global professional services industry is looking for an experienced Senior Programme Manager to support a high-profile Asset and Wealth Management industry event taking place in the first week of February 2027.

The event is a flagship industry activation delivered in collaboration with four sponsors. It aims to strengthen market positioning, engage senior clients and create valuable business development opportunities.

The Senior Programme Manager will take ownership of programme coordination, driving timelines, managing dependencies and ensuring stakeholders remain aligned and accountable throughout the process. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, this role will provide dedicated programme management support to ensure the event is planned, coordinated and delivered successfully.

This opportunity is suited to a confident, commercially aware programme management professional who can bring structure to complex projects, influence senior stakeholders and proactively drive delivery with minimal supervision.

  • Establish clear processes for tracking progress, managing risks and addressing potential delays.
  • Proactively identify issues and coordinate solutions to keep the programme on track.
  • Monitor workload and upcoming deadlines, ensuring activity is planned effectively and delivered efficiently.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams and competing priorities to maintain programme momentum.
  • Ensure stakeholders understand their responsibilities, deliverables and deadlines throughout the programme.

Stakeholder Management and Coordination

  • Coordinate stakeholders across the UK, Luxembourg, Ireland and the Channel Islands.
  • Manage communication and collaboration between internal teams, three external event sponsors and the appointed events agency.
  • Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders and ensure clear ownership of actions and deliverables.
  • Proactively follow up with stakeholders, challenge delays where appropriate and drive accountability.
  • Maintain alignment across internal teams, sponsors and external partners on programme requirements and milestones.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs and proactively address gaps, dependencies and outstanding decisions.

Meetings and Progress Reporting

  • Organise and facilitate programme meetings, workshops and planning sessions.
  • Prepare agendas, document key decisions, maintain action logs and follow up on outstanding deliverables.
  • Maintain project trackers, Gantt charts and progress reports to provide visibility of programme status.
  • Communicate risks, dependencies and progress updates clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Track decisions and actions to ensure responsibilities are understood and commitments are met.
  • Independently drive discussions, clarify next steps and maintain programme momentum without requiring close supervision.

Agenda and Content Coordination

  • Support the development and coordination of the event agenda.
  • Track speaker participation, content contributions, deadlines and approvals.
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are aligned on programme content and key milestones.
  • Follow up on outstanding speaker inputs, content requirements and approvals.
  • Coordinate dependencies between agenda development, content production and the overall event timeline.

Branding and Creative Asset Management

  • Coordinate branding requirements, creative assets and approval processes across the organisation and its sponsors.
  • Track the development, review and approval of event materials.
  • Liaise with relevant internal teams and external agencies to ensure deliverables meet agreed requirements and deadlines.
  • Monitor creative asset dependencies and proactively follow up on outstanding approvals.
  • Maintain visibility of branding deliverables and communicate potential delays or issues to relevant stakeholders.

External Agency Coordination

  • Work collaboratively with the appointed events agency, which is responsible for direct event logistics and delivery.
  • Ensure the agency and internal stakeholders remain aligned on requirements, deadlines and dependencies.
  • Support the resolution of programme-related queries and ensure key deliverables are completed on time.
  • Monitor agency deliverables against agreed milestones and communicate emerging risks.
  • Coordinate information and decisions between the agency, sponsors and internal teams to support successful event delivery.

Post-Event Review

  • Support the post-event review, including lessons learned, feedback and retrospective discussions.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes and inform future event planning.
  • Coordinate the collection of feedback and relevant programme insights.
  • Document lessons learned and follow-up actions to support continuous improvement.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Significant experience in programme management, project management or complex event programme delivery, ideally with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, timelines and dependencies.
  • Strong experience coordinating senior stakeholders across multiple teams, organisations or geographical territories.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and relationship management skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with the confidence to challenge stakeholders and follow up on outstanding actions.
  • Ability to independently lead meetings, drive decisions and maintain momentum without requiring close supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining project plans, trackers, Gantt charts and progress reports.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work flexibly within a part-time engagement.
  • A commercially aware mindset, with the ability to understand business objectives and align programme activity accordingly.
  • Confidence managing complex coordination activities and maintaining accountability across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to anticipate issues, resolve challenges and work independently while collaborating effectively with an established team.

Desirable Experience

  • Background managing large-scale corporate events, flagship industry activations or complex multi-stakeholder programmes.
  • Experience within professional services, consulting or large corporate environments.
  • Familiarity with financial services, Asset and Wealth Management or senior client engagement programmes.
  • Experience coordinating external agencies, sponsors, creative teams and content contributors.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.

Industry-specific Asset and Wealth Management knowledge is not essential. Sector expertise and business context will be provided by the client's team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a confident, self-sufficient and commercially minded programme management professional who can take ownership of a complex coordination workstream and drive it forward independently.

They will be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, managing competing priorities and diplomatically challenging individuals when actions or decisions are delayed. They will be highly organised, solutions-focused and able to anticipate what needs to happen next rather than simply responding to requests.

This role requires someone who can bring structure, clarity and accountability to a busy programme while working collaboratively with an established internal team. The successful candidate will exercise sound judgement, communicate clearly and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams with minimal supervision.

Why This Opportunity?
