We do this by disrupting traditional employment barriers - connecting ambitious talent to flexible opportunities with trusted brands.\n Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 3 months contract (with a potential to extend)\nWork set up: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)\nOur client in the global professional services industry is looking for a Software Engineering - Application Support Engineer to manage ongoing application support and system stability for core workforce platforms.\nWhat you will do:\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve WFS incidents and service requests within SLA timelines.\nSupport business users on workforce scheduling, time, and attendance queries.\nExecute configuration changes and enhancements within defined thresholds, including impact analysis, effort estimation, and testing.\nProvide functional and technical support across core WFS capabilities, including workforce scheduling, time and attendance, reporting, and configuration/scripting.\nMonitor system performance, integrations, and interfaces.\nIdentify recurring issues and structural improvement opportunities.\nPerform functional and integration testing while supporting release and deployment activities.\nEngage with third-party vendors (such as ADP/WFS) and collaborate with SAP AMS teams and business stakeholders.\nContribute to documentation, automation initiatives, and ongoing knowledge transfer activities.\nDeliver all support services strictly within agreed SLAs to maintain system stability and minimize business disruption.\nEnsure full compliance with Sasol AMS governance and operational processes.\nDrive the continuous improvement and automation of support activities to optimize the shared capacity model.\n Minimum 4 years of relevant Workforce Software (WFS / ADP) functional and/or technical expertise.\nMid-level professional standing with deep knowledge of workforce scheduling and time & attendance processes.\nProven track record handling incidents, service requests, and change requests within an ITIL-aligned framework.\nStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability for complex software environments.\nPractical hands-on WFS configuration, reporting, and/or scripting experience.\nBackground working in AMS delivery environments, with a strong preference for SAP AMS.\nDirect experience executing functional & integration testing and managing release support.\nComprehensive understanding of integrations and interfaces between WFS and SAP systems.\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure scenarios.\nEffective stakeholder communication and user engagement skills across diverse business teams.\nDemonstrated ability to operate successfully within strict SLA-driven environments.\nProactive mindset focused heavily on continuous improvement and system automation.\nSuperior prioritization and time management skills to handle competing tasks.\nCapability to work productively within a shared AMS delivery model and pooled capacity structure.\nStrong team collaboration skills spanning technical, functional, and business teams.\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nCandidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where the position is based, without requiring employer sponsorship.\nHelloKindred is committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive hiring practices.
