The ideal candidate will bring a strong hands-on technical background, excellent knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript, and experience in enterprise solution delivery, cloud transformations, application modernisation, and migration programmes. Strong stakeholder management, technical documentation, architectural governance, and proficiency in modern AI-based coding tools are also essential for this role.\nResponsibilities\nLead the end-to-end solution design process, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective enterprise solutions.\nDesign solutions using AWS and serverless architectures, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito, CloudFormation/CDK, and related AWS services.\nContribute hands-on technical expertise across architecture, solution design, code reviews, and technical governance where required.\nApply Node.js and TypeScript expertise alongside modern software engineering practices.\nSupport CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, microservices, and event-driven architectures.\nProduce high-quality architecture artefacts and technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture decision records, integration specifications, and security assessments.\nDevelop and deliver executive-level technical presentations to communicate architecture decisions and solution designs.\nEngage engineering teams, product owners, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to drive alignment and successful delivery.\nEstablish architectural standards, governance processes, and best practices across development teams.\nEnsure compliance with security, operational, and enterprise architecture requirements.\nSupport cloud transformation, application modernisation, and migration programmes involving large-scale enterprise platforms.\nApply modern AI-based coding tools and solutions to support software engineering and solution delivery.\nWork from the Weybridge office at least four days per week.\n Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering and enterprise solution delivery.\nAt least 5 years of experience in solution architecture roles involving large-scale enterprise platforms, cloud transformations, application modernisation, and migration programmes.\nExtensive expertise in AWS and serverless architectures, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito, CloudFormation/CDK, and related AWS services.\nExcellent knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of modern software engineering practices.\nStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, microservices, and event-driven architectures.\nProven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective enterprise solutions.\nHands-on technical experience contributing to architecture, design, code reviews, and technical governance.\nDemonstrated experience producing architecture artefacts and technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture decision records, integration specifications, security assessments, and executive-level technical presentations.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with engineering teams, product owners, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.\nExperience establishing architectural standards, governance processes, and development best practices while ensuring compliance with security, operational, and enterprise architecture requirements.\nDemonstrated proficiency in modern AI-based coding tools and solutions.\nAbility to work from the Weybridge office a minimum of four days per week.\nAbility to meet BPSS clearance requirements.\n Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where the position is based, without requiring employer sponsorship.\nHelloKindred is committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive hiring practices.
