The successful candidate will take ownership of complex functional and technical topics, guide junior consultants, and drive continuous improvements within Workday environments. The role will involve close collaboration with stakeholders, leading workshops, and ensuring high-quality delivery across all project stages.\nWhat you will do:\nProvide guidance on the Workday platform and lead key implementation and enhancement initiatives.\nPrepare, lead, and facilitate advanced workshops with business and technical stakeholders.\nConfigure, test, validate, and document Workday solutions across multiple functional areas.\nAnalyse client HR processes, propose optimisation strategies, and design scalable Workday improvements.\nConduct training sessions for end users and internal teams, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.\nIdentify and resolve complex technical and functional issues in collaboration with the wider team.\nMentor junior consultants, support their development, and review their work.\nManage incidents, service requests, and changes through ServiceNow or other ITIL-aligned service management platforms.\nCollaborate with stakeholders throughout project stages to ensure high-quality Workday delivery.\nSupport service coverage between 07:00 and 19:00 Monday through Friday through agreed team shift arrangements.\nParticipate in shared on-call support for P1 incidents when required.\n Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Workday Consultant, with expertise in modules such as HRIS, LMS, or Performance Appraisal.\nHold mandatory Workday Core HCM certification; additional Workday certifications are highly desirable.\nPossess a deep understanding of HR processes and HR systems, with hands-on experience in Workday configuration.\nApply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities when handling complex requirements.\nHave experience leading workshops, managing stakeholders, and driving solution design.\nWork independently while providing guidance and support to junior colleagues.\nCommunicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.\nBe available to work on-site 5 days per week in Manchester or Inverness.\nBe able to work within service hours of 07:00 to 19:00 Monday through Friday, with daily working hours agreed across the team to maintain service coverage.\nBe available to participate in shared P1 incident on-call support when required.\nMeet BPSS clearance requirements and be prepared to complete additional vetting as part of the onboarding process.\n Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where the position is based, without requiring employer sponsorship.\nHelloKindred is committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive hiring practices.
