below:\n\nJob Title: QA Tester & Project Coordinator / AI-Powered\n\nLocation: Nigeria\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven QA Tester (AI-Powered) / Project Coordinator to join our growing cross-border FinTech team.\nThe role also involves coordinating software development projects, tracking deliverables and timelines, facilitating communication between technical and business teams, managing project documentation, and supporting successful software releases.\nThe ideal candidate must be comfortable using AI tools to support test case generation, test automation, defect analysis, regression testing, API validation, and testing documentation, while independently verifying AI-generated outputs for accuracy and reliability.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting hands-on software testing using AI-powered tools and conventional QA methodologies, identifying and documenting defects, validating fixes, and ensuring that software products meet functional, technical, security, and business requirements before release.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAI-Assisted Quality Assurance and Software Testing:\n\nUse AI-powered testing tools to generate test cases, identify edge cases, support test automation, and improve testing efficiency.\nPerform functional, integration, regression, smoke, exploratory, and end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications.\nIdentify, document, track, and retest software defects, ensuring timely resolution.\nConduct API testing using Postman or equivalent tools and validate third-party integrations.\nValidate AI-generated test scripts, test data, and results before relying on them for QA decisions.\nTest cross-border payments, remittances, digital wallets, virtual accounts, FX transactions, and payment workflows.\n\nFinTech Payment and Security Testing:\n\nSupport security, performance, usability, and post-release testing activities.\nVerify data accuracy, transaction integrity, and application behaviour under different conditions.\nValidate transaction processing, payment statuses, notifications, settlement, reconciliation, and failed-payment recovery.\nTest authentication, authorization, role-based access, and relevant KYC/KYB, AML, and fraud-monitoring workflows.\n\nProject Coordination and Delivery:\n\nFollow up with developers, Product, DevOps, Operations, and other stakeholders on pending tasks and blockers.\nEscalate risks, delays, and unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor.\nTrack project timelines, sprint activities, milestones, deliverables, and outstanding tasks.\nCoordinate software projects from planning and development through testing, release, and deployment.\nCoordinate stand-ups, sprint reviews, testing sessions, UAT, and release meetings.\n\nDefect, Release and Documentation Management:\n\nCoordinate release readiness checks and verify fixes before deployment.\nPrepare concise reports on testing progress, defect trends, project risks, and release readiness.\nMaintain test cases, test evidence, defect logs, QA reports, and project status updates.\nSupport staging validation, production verification, and rollback coordination when necessary.\n\nContinuous Improvement:\n\nMonitor recurring defects and support root-cause analysis.\nPerform other related duties assigned by Management.\nEnsure AI tools are used responsibly, with appropriate data protection and human review.\nRecommend AI tools, test automation opportunities, and QA process improvements.\n\nRequirements & Qualifications\n\nEducation:\n\nDemonstrable experience using AI tools to support software testing, test case development, defect analysis, or automation.\nRelevant QA, software testing, Agile, or project management certifications are an advantage.\nExperience with Agile/Scrum workflows, issue tracking, and software release processes.\nExperience testing web applications, mobile applications, REST APIs, and software integrations.\nMinimum of 3–5 years of practical experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.\nExperience coordinating software projects, tracking deliverables, and working with cross-functional technical teams.\nExperience in cross-border FinTech, banking, payments, remittance, or other financial services is strongly preferred.\n\nRequired Technical Skills:\n\nTesting tools: Postman or equivalent API testing tools; familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks is an advantage.\nAI-assisted testing: Practical use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or specialised AI testing platforms.\nFinTech knowledge: Understanding of payment lifecycles, transaction validation, reconciliation, and financial data accuracy.\nReporting: Ability to prepare clear test reports, defect logs, project updates, and release documentation.\nTechnical knowledge: Understanding of APIs, HTTP status codes, JSON, databases, SQL basics, webhooks, and software development lifecycles.\nProject management: Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or equivalent task and project tracking tools.\n\nKey Competencies:\n\nAbility to use AI tools critically rather than relying blindly on generated results.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.\nExcellent coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.\nHigh integrity, confidentiality, and awareness of financial data security.\nStrong analytical thinking and attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced FinTech environment.\nPractical, hands-on
