We exist to cater to the everyday financial needs of our customers, transforming financial services as an alternative to traditional banking, without borders.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: QA Tester & Project Coordinator / AI-Powered\n\nLocation: Nigeria\n\nAbout the Role\n\n We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven QA Tester (AI-Powered) / Project Coordinator to join our growing cross-border FinTech team.\n\n The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting hands-on software testing using AI-powered tools and conventional QA methodologies, identifying and documenting defects, validating fixes, and ensuring that software products meet functional, technical, security, and business requirements before release.\n\n The role also involves coordinating software development projects, tracking deliverables and timelines, facilitating communication between technical and business teams, managing project documentation, and supporting successful software releases.\n\n The ideal candidate must be comfortable using AI tools to support test case generation, test automation, defect analysis, regression testing, API validation, and testing documentation, while independently verifying AI-generated outputs for accuracy and reliability.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAI-Assisted Quality Assurance and Software Testing:\n\n Use AI-powered testing tools to generate test cases, identify edge cases, support test automation, and improve testing efficiency.\n\n Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, exploratory, and end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications.\n\n Test cross-border payments, remittances, digital wallets, virtual accounts, FX transactions, and payment workflows.\n\n Conduct API testing using Postman or equivalent tools and validate third-party integrations.\n\n Identify, document, track, and retest software defects, ensuring timely resolution.\n\n Validate AI-generated test scripts, test data, and results before relying on them for QA decisions.\n\nFinTech Payment and Security Testing:\n\n Validate transaction processing, payment statuses, notifications, settlement, reconciliation, and failed-payment recovery.\n\n Test authentication, authorization, role-based access, and relevant KYC/KYB, AML, and fraud-monitoring workflows.\n\n Verify data accuracy, transaction integrity, and application behaviour under different conditions.\n\n Support security, performance, usability, and post-release testing activities.\n\nProject Coordination and Delivery:\n\n Coordinate software projects from planning and development through testing, release, and deployment.\n\n Track project timelines, sprint activities, milestones, deliverables, and outstanding tasks.\n\n Coordinate stand-ups, sprint reviews, testing sessions, UAT, and release meetings.\n\n Follow up with developers, Product, DevOps, Operations, and other stakeholders on pending tasks and blockers.\n\n Escalate risks, delays, and unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor.\n\nDefect, Release and Documentation Management:\n\n Maintain test cases, test evidence, defect logs, QA reports, and project status updates.\n\n Coordinate release readiness checks and verify fixes before deployment.\n\n Support staging validation, production verification, and rollback coordination when necessary.\n\n Prepare concise reports on testing progress, defect trends, project risks, and release readiness.\n\nContinuous Improvement:\n\n Recommend AI tools, test automation opportunities, and QA process improvements.\n\n Monitor recurring defects and support root-cause analysis.\n\n Ensure AI tools are used responsibly, with appropriate data protection and human review.\n\n Perform other related duties assigned by Management.\n\nRequirements & Qualifications\n\nEducation:\n\n Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.\n\n Relevant QA, software testing, Agile, or project management certifications are an advantage.\n\n Minimum of 3–5 years of practical experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering.\n\n Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, REST APIs, and software integrations.\n\n Experience in cross-border FinTech, banking, payments, remittance, or other financial services is strongly preferred.\n\n Demonstrable experience using AI tools to support software testing, test case development, defect analysis, or automation.\n\n Experience coordinating software projects, tracking deliverables, and working with cross-functional technical teams.\n\n Experience with Agile/Scrum workflows, issue tracking, and software release processes.\n\nRequired Technical Skills:\n\n AI-assisted testing: Practical use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or specialised AI testing platforms.\n\n Testing tools: Postman or equivalent API testing tools;
