Mia helps healthcare organizations reduce administrative burden, improve patient access and experience, streamline referral management, and capture revenue that would otherwise be missed through billing and RCM workflows.\nThis is a high-ownership role for a true hunter who understands the PT market and knows how to build relationships, create a pipeline, and close new business. Existing relationships or a strong network within the physical therapy market are highly valued.\nYou’ll have the opportunity to help build our PT business from the ground up - developing new accounts, testing messaging, and shaping how Hello Patient wins in the market.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn the Full Sales Cycle\nOwn the sales process from prospecting through close.\n\nLead discovery, tailored demos, pricing discussions, negotiations, and contracting.\n\nNavigate multiple stakeholders across practice operations, billing/RCM, and executive leadership.\n\nBuild trusted relationships with PT and orthopedic organizations and their decision-makers.\n\nDevelop opportunities from initial conversations or pilots into broader, long-term partnerships.\n\nBuild the PT Market\nDevelop and execute an outbound strategy focused on physical therapy and adjacent organizations.\n\nLeverage existing relationships and industry knowledge to open doors and accelerate pipeline.\n\nIdentify and develop new accounts through outbound prospecting, referrals, conferences, and industry relationships.\n\nEstablish Hello Patient as a trusted technology partner within the PT market.\n\nSell Business Impact\nUnderstand the operational and financial challenges facing PT organizations and connect them to measurable business outcomes.\n\nIdentify opportunities around patient engagement, referral management, billing, and RCM.\n\nHelp prospects understand how AI automation can reduce administrative workload, improve patient access, and drive revenue.\n\nIdentify opportunities to expand from an initial use case into broader organizational adoption.\n\nHelp Build the Sales Motion\nPartner closely with Sales, Leadership, Product, and Operations to build a repeatable PT sales motion.\n\nShare customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and market insights to improve messaging and positioning.\n\nHelp develop the playbook for selling into PT and adjacent specialty healthcare organizations.\n\nOperate with autonomy and adaptability in a rapidly evolving startup environment.\n\nMaintain accurate pipeline and forecasting and consistently work toward revenue goals.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nMust Have\n2+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of closing new business.\n\nStrong knowledge of the physical therapy market and the people, organizations, and buying dynamics within it.\n\nExisting relationships or a strong network within PT, orthopedic, or adjacent specialty healthcare markets.\n\nDemonstrated ability to independently generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and relationship-building.\n\nStrong hunter mentality - you know how to find opportunities, create conversations, and move deals forward.\n\nExperience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through close.\n\nExperience selling into mid-market organizations; enterprise experience is a plus.\n\nStrong consultative discovery, presentation, and negotiation skills.\n\nHigh ownership, self-direction, and comfort operating in an early-stage startup.\n\nPreferred\nExperience selling technology, software, healthcare technology, EMR, RCM, billing, patient engagement, or workflow solutions into PT organizations.\n\nBackground as a physical therapist or other clinical professional who transitioned into sales.\n\nExperience selling into orthopedic, chiropractic, occupational therapy, or other adjacent specialty healthcare organizations.\n\nExperience with RCM, billing, referral management, or patient engagement solutions.\n\nExperience selling to multi-location or enterprise PT groups.\n\nExperience selling AI, automation, or workflow software.\n\nCompensation\nOn-Target Earnings (OTE): $250,000 - $300,000 (uncapped)\nBase salary: $100,000 - $150,000\n\nEquity: Meaningful ownership in a fast-growing healthtech startup\n\nAbout Hello Patient\nHello Patient is transforming healthcare communication through advanced conversational AI.
