You will use your judgment in complex scenarios and help apply standard techniques to a wide variety of technical problems. Specifically, you will:\nCharacterize neural network quality, failure modes, and edge cases based on research data\n\nMaintain awareness of current trends in relevant areas of research and technology\n\nCoordinate with researchers and accurately convey status of experiments\n\nManage a large number of concurrent experiments and make accurate time estimates with respect to deadlines\n\nReview experimental results and suggest theoretical or process improvements for future iterations\n\nWrite technical reports indicating qualitative and quantitative results to external parties\n\nYou have:\nA sense of practical optimism: not all experiments are successful, but the ones that are more than make up for it!\n\nProficiency in Python\n\nProven ability to thrive in fast-paced environment\n\nAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to colleagues and a variety of audience\n\nIntrospection, thoughtfulness, and detail-orientation\n\nThe following are a plus, but not required:\nMaster’s or Ph.D. in a related field and/or 5+ years of experience in a directly related field\n\nExperience reading research papers and implementing the techniques therein\n\nComputer vision and deep learning experience\n\nThe pay range for this position is estimated to fall in the base range of approximately $150,000 and $250,000. Base compensation for this position will vary based on location, qualifications, and relevant experience.
