The successful candidate will lead by example, promote accountability, develop talent, and ensure customers receive reliable, high-quality electrical solutions.\nBenefits\nCompetitive compensation package with performance-based bonus opportunities\n\nCompany vehicle and gas card\n\nComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance\n\n401(k) retirement plan with company match\n\nPaid time off (PTO)\n\nOngoing training and professional development opportunities\n\nSupportive team environment with opportunities for career growth and advancement\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDepartment Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop electricians and apprentices while supporting hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.\n\nService and Installation Operations: Oversee daily operations, scheduling, workload distribution, and resource allocation to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality service delivery.\n\nTechnical Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, permitting requirements, and safety standards while overseeing inspections, troubleshooting, and quality control.\n\nFinancial and Operational Performance: Monitor revenue, profitability, job costs, labor productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve department efficiency and business results.\n\nEstimating and Project Coordination: Partner with sales, estimating, and operations teams on job scopes, pricing, project planning, and resource requirements.\n\nCustomer Satisfaction: Oversee escalated service issues, resolve customer concerns, and promote quality workmanship, professional communication, and ethical service recommendations.\n\nProcess Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, technician performance, service capacity, and overall departmental effectiveness.\n\nQualifications\nMinimum of 10 years of electrical industry experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.\n\nResidential electrical service and installation experience strongly preferred.\n\nValid Master Electrician license, as required by applicable state and local regulations.\n\nProven ability to lead, coach, and develop electricians and apprentices.\n\nStrong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, installation practices, electrical codes, and safety standards.\n\nExperience overseeing service operations, scheduling, job costing, labor productivity, and departmental performance.\n\nFamiliarity with field service management software, such as ServiceTitan, and experience using KPIs to drive operational improvements.\n\nWorking knowledge of estimating, project planning, and reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.\n\nStrong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills, with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.\n\nCandidates must successfully complete applicable background checks, drug screening, physical examinations, and lift assessments, where permitted by law. \n\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements\nThis position combines office-based administrative and management responsibilities with regular field activity at residential job sites. The role requires the ability to visit job sites, communicate with customers and employees, inspect electrical work, and provide technical guidance in active work environments.\nField activities may include climbing ladders, navigating uneven surfaces, working in confined spaces, operating or inspecting the use of hand and power tools, and exposure to outdoor weather, noise, dust, and other job-site conditions. The position may require occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
