This hands-on leadership role is responsible for team performance, job quality, field support, training, scheduling, and operational results.\nThe ideal candidate has strong residential plumbing experience, knowledge of plumbing codes and installation standards, and the ability to coach, develop, and hold technicians accountable.\nKey Responsibilities\nTeam Leadership & Development\nLead, coach, and develop the residential plumbing installation team.\nTrain team members on installation techniques, code compliance, safety, and company procedures.\nManage employee performance, including coaching, documentation, and disciplinary action.\nReview and approve time sheets, schedules, and attendance.\nField Support & Quality\nProvide field support and technical guidance to installers.\nTroubleshoot job-site challenges and conduct quality inspections.\nEnsure work meets company standards, customer expectations, and applicable plumbing codes.\nMonitor productivity, material usage, callbacks, and job quality.\nOperations & Performance\nCoordinate scheduling and resources to keep projects on track.\nPartner with sales, service, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.\nMonitor job costing, labor and material costs, and departmental performance.\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce callbacks and rework.\nQualifications\n7+ years of plumbing industry experience, including significant residential installation experience.\nPrior management or supervisory experience leading plumbing installation teams is required.\nStrong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, installation methods, plumbing codes, and permitting.\nExperience with field support, troubleshooting, training, and performance management.\nExperience with time sheets, scheduling, productivity, and employee performance.\nStrong understanding of job costing and departmental profitability; P&L experience preferred.\nProven ability to lead teams and maintain accountability.\nContractor's Plumbing License preferred but not required.\nStrong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive pay and great work environment\nFully equipped company truck with parts, equipment, and gas card \nMedical, Dental, Life, and Vision insurance\n401(k) with partial company match\nCompany-provided iPhone and iPad\nPaid vacation and holidays\nTraining and advancement opportunities\nSupportive, team-oriented work environment\nWork Environment:\nWorks in residential field environments, including climbing ladders, navigating uneven surfaces, and working in confined spaces.
