Responsibilities:
- Build scalable, high-performance backend systems for data-intensive applications.
- Design data access layers, APIs, workflows, and scalable data services.
- Work with Snowflake and large-scale data platforms.
- Build intelligent data products using GenAI/LLMs for anomaly detection, summarization, and insights.
- Design scalable data models, schemas, and analytics solutions.
- Work on real-time/near-real-time processing and distributed systems.
- Optimize performance through query tuning, caching, and efficient data-access patterns.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong Python / Java or similar programming language.
- Strong SQL, query optimization, and large-scale data handling.
- Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL / Snowflake / Redshift or similar databases.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, system design, and reliability.
- Cloud experience with AWS / GCP / Azure.
- Exposure to GenAI/LLMs, embeddings, vector search, or LLM-powered applications.
- Kafka/Kinesis and Spark/Airflow experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good to have: Data engineering, streaming systems, analytics platforms, GenAI/LLM, and data visualization experience.
