part-time (50%) can also be considered\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine the overall solution architecture, technical structure, and key technology decisions.\nTranslate product requirements and UX concepts into feasible, scalable technical solutions.\nDesign the architecture of a complex, interactive web application with a strong frontend component.\nDefine clear boundaries between frontend, backend, APIs, data processing, data storage, and external integrations.\nDesign efficient approaches to data processing, storage, querying, and API performance.\nEnsure the architecture can support large volumes of data and computationally intensive processing where required.\nWork closely with Product, Product Design, and Engineering throughout discovery, design, and implementation.\nKeep business logic and product value at the center of architectural decisions while evaluating technical feasibility.\nIdentify technical risks, constraints, dependencies, and architectural trade-offs early.\nEnsure the solution is maintainable, secure, performant, scalable, and cost-efficient.\nProvide technical guidance and architectural support to the development team during implementation.\nLeverage AWS cloud services and infrastructure capabilities to design reliable and cost-effective solutions.\nTechnical Requirements\nStrong experience in Solution Architecture or Software Architecture for modern web applications.\nStrong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure, including the design of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.\nExperience designing complex, interactive, frontend-heavy applications.\nSolid understanding of frontend and backend architecture, APIs, data storage, integrations, and system boundaries.\nExperience designing systems that handle large volumes of data and computationally intensive processing.\nStrong understanding of data modelling, querying, processing, and application performance optimization.\nAbility to evaluate technology choices and select appropriate architectural patterns based on product requirements.\nExperience collaborating with senior engineers across different technical specializations, including Python, JavaScript, Full Stack, and DevOps.\nAbility to identify architectural risks and make informed technical decisions.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to explain architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nLean and Product-Oriented Mindset\nFocus on business value and delivery efficiency rather than technical perfection.\nEvaluate architectural decisions based on impact, effort, cost, and time-to-market.\nPrefer the simplest architecture that supports current requirements and expected product evolution.\nAvoid over-engineering and unnecessary technologies or infrastructure.\nBe pragmatic about budget, development capacity, and delivery timelines.\nDesign with the future in mind without solving problems that do not yet exist.\nIdeal Candidate\nWe are looking for a pragmatic Solution Architect who can balance technical quality, product requirements, and delivery efficiency.
