You will manage the entire supply chain of Official Secrets, ranging from rigorous facility inspections to the validation of implemented security systems and the secure handling of classified materials. This role is crucial to maintaining the operational integrity of our facilities, ensuring that our environments remain secure against evolving threats while enabling our teams to advance our core mission safely.\nThe day-to-day\nMonitor security camera networks actively to identify and mitigate suspicious activities or anomalies\n\nInvestigate and respond to alerts via the hazard detection and alarm management systems to ensure rapid threat containment\n\nEscort and supervise contractors, maintenance staff, and external visitors to maintain secure site protocols\n\nManage incidents and escalate critical information in alignment with the established alarm response matrix\n\nMonitor global and local news continuously to identify and pre-empt potential security threats\n\nDisseminate security-relevant updates and alerts across standard internal communication channels\n\nDraft comprehensive incident reports, shift logs, and operational documentation to maintain accurate security records\n\nMonitor and manage access control systems to prevent unauthorised entry\n\nCoordinate with emergency services (police, fire department, medical) as the central dispatch hub during crises\n\nPerform routine health checks on all security infrastructure, including cameras, sensors, and software, to ensure uninterrupted operation\n\nManage and track physical keys and digital access tokens to control access to restricted areas\n\nOperate the internal emergency hotline to provide immediate assistance to employees\n\nProvide comprehensive security support for medium and high-profile company events\n\nYou should apply if you\nDemonstrate extensive practical expertise in physical security guarding and incident management\n\nApply strong technical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot complex security systems and access controls\n\nCommunicate fluently in both German and English to coordinate effectively with national and international suppliers and internal teams\n\nDisplay a thorough understanding of handling classified materials and maintaining the integrity of Official Secrets\n\nMake sound, rapid decisions during high-pressure situations or emergencies\n\nNavigate complex regulatory and compliance frameworks related to physical security\n\nNote: We operate in an industry where women, as well as other minority groups, are systematically under-represented.
