During this time, all payment and settlement activities must be accurately reflected in the financial accounts. The accountant prepares bank reconciliations, and ensures all controls are executed and documented on time.\nMonthly Responsibilities\nSupport month-end closing activities\nPrepare and review monthly bank reconciliations\nEnsure timely and accurate execution of internal controls\nPrepare payment-related reports and analysis\nSupport internal and external audits\nReview payment compliance and control effectiveness\nAdditional Tasks Assigned by the Leader\nIn addition to standard responsibilities, the Payments & Approval Accountant may lead or support improvement initiatives, participate in payment process enhancements, and take part in cross-functional projects.
