You’ll monitor system health, resolve issues, and recommend improvements to performance and reliability.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:\nConfigure and administer Voice over IP (VoIP) systems\nManage user, group, and device identities in on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID\nAdminister Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams\nMaintain backup and disaster recovery jobs in Azure, AWS, and Acronis Cloud, and test restores regularly\nConfigure and maintain wired and wireless networks using Extreme Cloud IQ and Extreme Site Engine\nDeploy and manage on-premises and cloud infrastructure in AWS and Microsoft Azure\nAdminister on-premises and cloud file shares, including permissions and storage capacity\nBuild, configure, and support virtual machines\nApply patches and security updates across servers, endpoints, and network devices\nMonitor systems and networks, analyze performance data, and implement improvements\nResolve escalated help desk tickets and mentor help desk staff on troubleshooting\nDocument configurations, procedures, and changes, and follow change management practices\nSkills Needed:\nAnalytical Skills - Possess critical thinking and reasoning skills to solve a problem. \nAccountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions. \nBusiness Acumen - Grasps and understands business concepts and issues.\nCommunication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.\nDetail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task. \nDecision Making - Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.\nEthical - Demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.\nOrganized - Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task. \nProblem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.\nReliability - Demonstrates being dependable and trustworthy.\nTime Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.\nWorking Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.\nQualifications:\n3-5 years of experience in systems administration in a hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environment\nHands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 administration\nExperience administering Windows Server and virtualized environments\nWorking knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, and wireless\nFamiliarity with access control and security concepts such as role-based access control (RBAC), multifactor authentication (MFA), and conditional access\nExperience with monitoring and diagnostic tools for systems and networks\nScripting experience, preferably PowerShell, to automate routine tasks\nStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills\nHigh-level problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to exercise initiative and resourcefulness. \nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Knowledge of professional office practices. \nAbility to exercise independent judgment and discretion. \nAbility to work with limited supervision. \nAbility to understand and carry out moderately complex oral and written instructions, prioritize work, and meet time constraints. \nThe ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.\nExperience Preferred:\nExperience with Extreme Cloud IQ and Extreme Site Engine, or comparable cloud-managed network platforms\nExperience with Acronis or similar backup and disaster recovery tools\nExperience configuring VoIP or unified communications platforms\nHands-on experience with Azure and AWS services\nKnowledge of Linux administration\nExperience with Intune, Group Policy, or other endpoint management tools\nEducation/Experience:\nHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required. \nassociate or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or engineering\nCertificates and Licenses:\nAWS Certified CloudOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Network+, Security+, Server+\nComputer Skills:\nSolid background in systems administration and architecture. Familiarity with access control models and network security. Experience with systems and network diagnostics, monitoring, and analysis tools. Knowledge of network operating systems. Proficiency with coding languages.\nCommunication Skills:\nAbility to understand and follow instructions.
