This role will focus on troubleshooting electrical faults, coordinating preventative and breakdown maintenance, maintaining automation systems and supporting engineering projects to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency and site safety. The ideal candidate will hold an unrestricted electrical licence, have experience with PLCs and industrial electrical systems, and bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across a manufacturing environment.\nWhat you´ll do Coordinate and carry out preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance to ensure the safe and reliable operation of plant equipment, machinery, buildings and infrastructure. Troubleshoot electrical faults and diagnose equipment performance issues to minimise downtime and improve operational reliability. Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, control panels, sensors, drives, actuators and other industrial electrical equipment.\nMaintain and troubleshoot automation systems, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs and associated control systems. Support engineering and capital projects, including design, fabrication, installation, construction and commissioning activities. Coordinate contractors and service providers, ensuring work meets site safety requirements, Australian Standards and relevant regulatory requirements.\nEnsure all maintenance and construction activities comply with safety procedures, including permits to work, LOTO, working at heights and hot work requirements.
