We’re always looking for talented and dedicated people to join us and love where they work.\nResponsibilities\nThe Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing field operations associated with gas distribution construction projects, including main installation, service replacements, system upgrades, and emergency response work. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT and PHMSA requirements.\nThe Construction Supervisor manages daily field activities, monitors productivity, coordinates crews and subcontractors, and ensures quality installation and restoration of gas distribution infrastructure.\nResponsibilities:\nSupervise and coordinate gas distribution construction activities, including:Mainline installation (plastic & steel)\nService installations and replacements\nLeak investigations and emergency repairs\nTie-ins, purging, and pressure testing\n\nEnsure compliance with all safety policies, OSHA requirements, and gas utility regulations, including DOT/PHMSA standards. \nConduct jobsite safety briefings, audits, and incident investigations; reinforce a strong safety culture among crews. \nMonitor and control job costs, labor productivity, and equipment utilization; review daily reports and progress tracking systems. \nCoordinate with utility clients, inspectors, municipalities, and permitting agencies to ensure work compliance and timely completion. \nOversee traffic control, excavation, restoration, and right-of-way management. \nManage and support union and non-union crews (Between 8-10 crews, and 25-35 individuals), subcontractors, and field personnel. \nEnsure proper documentation of:As-builts\nPressure tests\nInspection logs\nMaterial usage and traceability\n\nAssist with scheduling, resource planning, and coordination of tools, equipment, and fleet. \nPromote continuous improvement in construction practices, safety performance, and operational efficiency.\nQualifications\nRequired\nStrong knowledge of gas distribution construction methods and practices\nExperience with:\nUnderground utility construction\nExcavation safety and trenching standards\nPipeline installation and maintenance\nUnderstanding of DOT/PHMSA regulations and gas utility compliance standards\nProven ability to manage field crews, subcontractors, and multiple job sites\nExperience with cost tracking, scheduling, and construction reporting systems\nProficiency with MS Office and construction/project management software\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills\nPreferred\nExperience working in live gas environments\nKnowledge of plastic fusion, steel welding, and pipeline integrity practices\nFamiliarity with regional gas utility standards and specifications\nMinimum Educational Background:\nBS degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or related field;
