We design and install multiple technologies and work throughout the DC Metro area. H&M is seeking several energetic, career-minded individuals to join our team working at a customer site in Washington, DC.\nWhile working under the direction of the Team Lead, the RF Installer/Technician provides leadership and training to installers and junior technicians. Must rely upon experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish daily and weekly milestones.\nResponsibilities\nInstall, align, and secure RF antennas, transmitters, receivers, cabling, and associated hardware\nPerform RF system testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and validation to ensure optimal performance\nInstall grounding, surge protection, and weatherproofing components in alignment with safety codes\nOperate RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and SWR meters\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, FCC regulations, and company safety standards\nProvide technical support to customers or internal stakeholders during and after installation\nIdentify installation issues and recommend technical solutions to improve reliability and performance\nQualifications\n2+ years of experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in electronics or telecommunications preferred\nExperience with RF system installation, telecommunications, or field service work\nAbility to operate RF test and measurement tools\nStrong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and power tools\nExperience installing wireless communications, satellite, 2-way radio, cellular, or broadband systems\nKnowledge of cabling standards (fiber, coax, Cat5/6), grounding systems, and RF safety protocols\nExperience with 4.3 and N type compression connectors\nFlexibility with work hours; while this is a 40-hour-per-week position, some early deliveries may be required.
