As a B2B SaaS leader in Japan, we provide mission-critical security solutions that empower enterprises to work safely from anywhere.\nIn this role, you will join the Platform team, to build,evolve and maintain our Internal Developer Platform leveraging cloud native technologies (Kubernetes) and AWS services. Your mission is to empower our product development teams to build, ship and run their applications securely and efficiently. To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong technical foundation in Kubernetes and AWS.\nTech Stack\nKubernetes (EKS), AWS, ArgoCD, Terraform, Backstage, Kyverno\nWhat you'll do\nDesign, develop, and maintain Internal Developer Platform (IDP) using Kubernetes and AWS services\nContribute to technical discussion to help define the architecture, roadmap and the future direction of the IDP.\nCollaborate with product development teams to seamlessly onboard their product onto the IDP.\nParticipate actively in code reviews, discussions and technical decision-making.\nWhat we’re looking for\nMinimum Qualifications\n3 years of experience working with production Kubernetes on cloud, preferably AWS EKS. (Note: please mention the exact years of professional experience with Kubernetes in your cv).\n3 years of experience building and managing AWS infrastructure with Terraform.\nHands-on experience with ArgoCD and Kustomize and authoring/deploying Helm charts.\nExperience building and maintaining web application pipelines using GitHub Actions.\nAbility to take technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and work collaboratively in a team environment.\nFluency in English, equivalent to CEFR B2 level or above (e.g., TOEIC 785+).\nConversational Japanese to coordinate with external vendors (e.g. AWS Japan), cross-functional divisions, and local communities.\nWhile not required, we’d love to hear if you have:\nDegree in Computer Science or related technical field.\nRelevant industry certifications, such as:Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), or Certified Cloud Native Platform Engineer (CNPE)\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or AWS Certified Security - Specialty\nHashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate\n\nHands-on experience building custom Kubernetes controllers and implementing policy management tools like Kyverno .\nExperience with Backstage (or similar Internal Developer Portal frameworks)\nExperience setting up and managing observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Grafana / LGTM stack).\nStrong understanding of AWS security best practices.\nTrack record of contributing to CNCF open-source projects or speaking at cloud-native tech conferences.\nStrong technical communication and writing skills (runbooks, documentation) to collaborate effectively across Platform and Product teams via code reviews and technical discussions.\nWork Style & Employment Details\nWork Style\nFlexible working hours with a designated core time (11:00-16:00), allowing you to organize your day effectively.
